iPhone Safari: Doesn’t work.
I get the message “Your browser doesn’t support Adobe Flash, sorry”
Desktop Firefox latest with Flash disable: Doesn’t work.
I get the message “Your browser doesn’t support Adobe Flash, sorry”
Chrome (latest) desktop: Opens the security dialog: https://screencast.com/t/RTesQNZA – so I guess it should work. Didn’t try. Because if iOS doesn’t work, I don’t really care about desktop.
Please help!
Thanks,
– Ravi

]]>Recently I started blocking plug-ins (Flash and Silverlight) by default on websites. I noticed that when I login in WordPress my browser asks if I want to execute Flash. I could remember that I used any plugins which requires Flash so I looked where the Flash was loaded. When I searched my source I find that there are 2 Flash-objects linked in /plugins/front-end-editor/lib/aloha-editor/lib/aloha.js
Why are these linked inside the plugin? What happens/breaks when I don’t have flash installed of activated?
Because an increasingly amount of users don’t have Flash anymore installed or disabled by default I think it should be considered to remove dependency on this browserplugin. Probably till then you can include the FAQ with some information that this wordpress-plugin is using Adobe Flash.
Kind Regards,
Theodoor

]]>Here’s the end result (something is definitely not working). https://www.speckleddogmedia.com/about-2/draft
I researched this a bit and think it might be the javascript that’s not working in a page? And there’s something about a “function” that I might have to do? I’d appreciate any help about how to modify this HTML coding from Adobe Flash as I am mainly a CSS person… Thank you!
