I have different shipping types configured to multiply by the number of products, but I have realized that the formula has been lost and every time I try to correct it it does not save it.
Shipping class X has a value of 8 * the quantity.
8*[qty]
When I save the configuration settings, I open it again and it only appears:
8
the multiplication by quantity is eliminated.
Has this happened to anyone else?
How could I correct it?
It has been working correctly until a few days ago.
Thank you very much for your time.
Francisco.
]]>For example here is what it says on the documentation –
“vailable placeholders:
[qty] – Number of products in the cart
[fee] – An additional fee. This fee has two optional arguments.
percent – A percentage based on total order cost.
min_fee – A minimum amount. Useful when using percentages.
max_fee – A maximum amount. Useful when using percentages.
Examples
10 + ( 2 * [qty] ) – A base shipping cost of $10 plus $2 for each item in the cart.
20 + [fee percent=”10″ min_fee=”4″] – A base shipping cost of $20 plus 10% of the order total, which is at least $4.”
I’ve made a few guesses on what I thought might work, but it doesn’t. If anyone could suggest coding that would work, it would much appreciated.
Many thanks
Yelena.
]]>Hi everyone, I have been going crazy trying to find a free solution to my requirement. I would like to offer free shipping when the sub total of specific products/category in basket is over a certain amount. So the customer will be charged for shipping when they ad items, however when a certain category of products have a subtotal over x amount, then shipping should be free for the entire order. Any help with this would be fantastic. Free plugin or code snippets I could use to achieve this with woocommerce?
]]>I am a newbie here (looking for help), as I am going bonkers trying to find a plugin or a solution for my shop that supports combining the shipping cost of different products in one cart.
My scenario is similar to this, that seem to have gone unresolved(https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/combining-shipping-totals-on-different-ship-methods?replies=8), and so far I have purchased 3 different plugins that seem to say they support this (but only to find they do not), one of which is a paid subscription and still can’t get what I need.
I find this extremely strange, since I have seen shipping plugins that are developed for more complex need, but it seems this requirement have been missed.
Basically, what I am trying to do is to sell different products that are supplied and shipped by different supplier partner that I buy from wholesale to stock my shop. For example, hypothetically speaking the customer can come to my shop and buy shoes that I personally stock and ship from own location (so call me supplier 1, that ship from X), plus buy jewelry (from supplier 2, that get shipped fom Y), and Knick knacks (from supplier 3 that get shipped from Z). However, they have added all 3 items in the cart that they picked up in my shop (from all 3 suppliers, including me). As supplier 1, I have my own shipping rate that I charge, and supplier 2 and 3 have different rates too and all 3 items will be shipped from different locations. All products weight are different as well. However, I only care about the shipping cost which is a flat or calculated fee per supplier.
With that said, I need to be able to add a separate shipping cost for all these individual products that the customer is buying at the same time and combine the shipping cost + product cost into one final calculation and payment during checkout.
I tried this by setting up a shipping class for each and using the advanced shipping plugin or table rate shipping to link to a shipping class, but none of these provide a combined shipping cost, only an optional shipping cost, so you can only choose one when you are ready to check out. While what I need is for all 3 shipping costs to be calculated as one, before the customer can complete the checkout.
Can anyone let me know if your plugin can do this or can you suggest another plugin for this? Please note I do not have multiple vendors that is selling at my shop, I am the only seller, selling several items from different suppliers.
Any help with this, will be greatly appreciated, for I am having a hard time getting a straight answer from the vendors of the plugins that I purchased and this is becoming really frustrating and time is of the essence. For I cannot market the store if the cart is not working properly, so I am dead in the water at the moment.
So coming to this forum is my last hope of getting some real help to move forward with my shop.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Best Regards,
Ms. B
P.S. If such a plugin exist I am willing to pay for it (for I have purchased a lot of great plugins so far that I am using for different functions). So I do not want to reinvent the wheel and get a developer to create one from scratch, if there is one already available and I just can’t find it, because it’s in a sea of others that are claiming to support this kind of setup, but do not, so its gets really confusing and hard to track the real one down. And I have lost so much time and money with this already…and getting overwhelmed.
However, if this is not available for Woocommerce, I am willing to evaluate the possibility of getting something developed if its feasible, financial wise.

]]>Ex. Group 1 Products 1, 2 & 3 have free shipping. Group 2 Products 4, 5 & 6 have FedEx shipping calculations. Right now, if you add products from the first group and second group to the shopping cart, I can make it either charge shipping for all products or all products ship free. I need to make calculations for shipping free shipping items $0 but add shipping prices based on items from the 2nd group.

]]>Using Woocommerce 2.2.1.0 and trying to setup the shipping costs.
But it seems imposible!!
3 Shipping classes:
Deliver to 5 zones:
Its imposible to make different prices!
And when i fix it with max 3 zones (local, flat rate and international) my customer can choose with radio buttons what he wants to pay!
So when i have to deliver to local they can choose out a list if they want to play more for flate rate or international?!
WHY?
Now I tryed “advanced shipping” plugin but that also doesn’t fix the problem.
When there are 2 products in the cart with different shipping classes there are some radio buttons again. With the choice if they want to pay the delivery for product 1 or for product 2. like that should be a choice?! mmh lets think I will only pay the cheap delivery for product 1 so they can send product 2 for free!
Please help me can’t seem to fix this in the right way.
Thanks,
Jesse
