I need to find a way to incorporate Google Ads while also using PostX. The 300×250 MPU advert is our most popular ad, and that one lends itself well to working within a grid.
Is there any way to incorporate a custom grid item or create a grid that doesn’t fit 100% of the horizontal space, so that I have a way of including the MPU? Ideally, I would like to place a 300×250 at some position on the right-hand column.

Since everything is controlled by short codes I haven’t found a good place for it. I would lika to insert/inject ads between info like phone no and the description of the listing.
In this example, I would like to have an ad before the “KONTAKTINFORMATION & BOKNING” section, above the map.

Adding a advert to a box that had a useful purpose would be bad enough, but adding one that only includes an untickable tickbox that says it is a pro feature is spammy behaviour. And giving this advert such high priority that it sits above the Publish box is terrible.
I’m surprised it’s allowed in a plugin in the WP.org directory to be honest.

]]>When editing adverts from the backend, after I do Update, the phone field gets overriden with my User’s Phone number stored in User’s Profile and Author.
What worsens the issue is that if i write the original phone in the field, does not have effect and the admin’s phone is set into the field. This seems a critical issue since adverts needs to be moderated and if any modification must be done by admins, the phone field might be a problem in a short term. Here is a video shoeing the issue.
https://youtu.be/atxWB6dH7IYFor this i have as a workaround, setting the published status from the Quick Edit option after revising the ad without saving; if there is no need to edit, we go for Quick Edit, but if the ad requires any other editing, the fact that the Poster’s phone gets overriden by admin’s might be a problem.

I’ve installed WP Adverts & Better Notifications for WP. I created some post & page triggers which work fine.
Now I tried to setup a notification with the type “New Classified Published”. Trigger & Email are successfully sent if i create a new ad from the wordpress dashboard. If a user creates a new ad from the website (not wp-admin), it won’t fire. Any idea which part am I missing?

And therein lies the challenge. All those settings and customizations have to go somewhere, and even though the author has made EXTREMELY good use of screen space, you may still find yourself staring at the settings screen and wondering where to start.
A saving grace: every button, check box, and option have hover help included. So, you can at least begin to grasp what you are doing.
But to really get all the value out of the plugin, you NEED to pay use the documentation. (Which is extensive.) I was able to do pretty much all my customizations by patiently reading the docs and then implementing.
And, if you get stuck, the support is excellent. Most of my questions have been answered in under a day, or even within the hour.
If I was running a site with ads, there is not another plugin I would use; this would be my first and only choice. And, even without ads, this is a great plugin for inserting text, calls to action, and other items into your site.
Highly, highly recommended. But be ready to spend serious time learning a serious tool.
