Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place, but i am after a bit of advise with searching for a WordPress plugin my boss wants me to look for, long story short, we are using woo-commerce for our shops and i am tasked with the job of finding a plugin for “click and collect/ delivery” his exact words are “i want it like the screwfix site” where you can browse the shop freely but as soon as you add something to the basket you are then asked whether this is will be for click and collect or delivery (followed by the user selecting the relevant option and putting their postcode in) and then everything else they add to the basket is automatically set for the same delivery option without the customer having to select which store every time for every product

Does anybody know of a plugin that can do this as I have tried searching online but I haven’t managed to find the right plugin yet, any help would be beyond amazing! I’m stuck and I do not know what else to do

I’m looking for a (preferably free) plugin which shows a front-end table based on my cf7 submissions, filtered by the logged in user. (so for every user a personal view)

I use Ultimate member as my membership system and cf7 ofc als submission form.
I like to show the filtered submission view on the account page of a user.

So my question is : do you any plugin/way to have a (free) reservation page/website using any plugin/other? with 5 periods (could be simulated as days like I’ve tried to hack a few plugins) and ~ 60 + 30 + 20 content available (for borrowing free) (so 5 times ~ 110), with people needing to enter their school name, personal name, phone number and email adress so we can contact them (elsewise many won’t be brought back in time). (we also have books but we removed them from the current system because it would be too much work)

when insattled and activated a notice appears:
“Please note – the new WooCommerce version 2.7 will be soon released. Before proceeding with the update, please verify the plugins you are using are already compatible. You can check the compatibility status of YITH products HERE.”

once checked compatibility with my system the note remain… always! there’s no way to remove it. please insert a button “dismiss the notice”

I require a site with users, so require a register and login ability.
A forum.
The ability for users to review items, each item would have its own page where overall reviews can be seen.
The user would have to select the item that they own when registering, and would only be able to leave reviews and comments for that particular item.
They can amend and adjust the review at any time, and update the comments associated with it.
If they decide to change the product they own in their profile, it would have to be approved by an admin.

Creating accounts that will include:
A Bio
Volunteering information
Contact and donating information
Pictures
Editing their accounts
Creating advertisements for up-and-coming events with these accounts
Selecting various filters that describe themselves

Charities will be:
Displayed as list items, including a single picture and brief description, on the ‘Charities’ page
Displayed in full, all the information mentioned above, when clicked on by users

Events will be:
Displayed on the home page
Displayed on the events page

Volunteers/ donators will use the site to:
Search through the various charities using the numerous filters.
Contact the charities directly through the site
Search for up-and-coming events that they can participate in.

In addition:
News and articles will be displayed on the homepage
There may be some sort of a forum where volunteers can write about their experiences with the charities.

Will I be able to use wordpress to create a site will all the above features?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a suitable theme that allows me to create a news website with a database (archive) functionality. The theme should allow me to create ”profile” pages (not as in user profiles, but profiles dedicated to a certain topic, for example ”WW2 Generals”). The profile pages are basically summaries of people, organisations, etc. but displayed in a nice, organised way.

I am also looking for a theme/design/template that allows me to create a functional, easy-to-search database. The theme for the database doesn’t have to be the same as the theme for the news website/profile pages (in fact; even the profile pages can have their own dedicated theme; different subdomains will be used for different purposes, so different themes is not an issue at all!)

Lastly, we like to have a site suitable for a non-profit or political organisation; a nice, clean theme with a professional look that doesn’t distract too much, but it shouldn’t be too clean either.

I know wiki software exists, which I could use for the database section, but I’d rather not. I want the database to be a bit more ‘attractive’ and customisable.

A few examples of websites that have what we want to achieve:

News:

https://www.middleeasteye.net/ (example of a clean news site. What I particularly like is that visitors can easily sort news by country and the language buttons to see a different version (language) of the site. The different colours for different sections is an added bonus)

Themes that have some new/modern features, like a collapsable ”sidebar menu”, are a plus.

Maybe not the best example since that’s not the most ”clean” web design, and it’s subscription based which we are not going for. But it’s a very ”dynamic” design nevertheless. I am sure it’s possible to achieve a similar look (header cover/image with some with space ”cut out” for the title, categorisation, images, etc.) is possible with other themes. In fact, I have found similar designs in many themes, but the REAL problem is; there are so many different themes that we don’t know what to choose anymore.

Database:

https://www.ww2db.com (easy to search, large database. Standard wiki could’ve been used for this archive, but their way of archiving the information looks better).

As you can see, the ”database” can basically be incorporated with most multipurpose wordpress themes. We just want a theme that allows us to organise content in a beautiful, easy-to-search way for visitors.

General information/non-profit themed etc.

We actually found a few themes we could use. But the problem with these themes is that they are really focused on donations, charities, etc. That’s not what we want; we are looking for a theme that provides users with general information about us and with links, banners, etc. to our other ”main” websites (news website, database, profiles site). So it mainly serves as some sort of ”mothership” under which the other sites are united. This means this website is not content-heavy like the other themes, so the theme doesn’t require as much features. It simply should be clean, organised, and preferably ‘modern’ (clean, big buttons, rounded, etc.).

I know I am asking a lot, but I would appreciate it if you could even recommend one thing for one of the purposes described above! Willing to pay someone who is prepared to do some research and come with a good recommendations.

PS: The themes will of course be customised to our own needs, but we like to work/start with a framework first and build and customise the websites from there on. This is just the beginning (well, not even) of a very long project :).
