Product Gallery Images – Alt Text no longer appears under images

I’ve just noticed that when viewing the enlarged (magnified) product gallery images (in Chrome and Safari), the Alt Text that I always include in every product image no longer shows under the product gallery photos. It always displayed as white text against the black background that surrounds the image. This is an important feature for accessibility, so I hope there’s a fix for it. Is there any chance that the text is now showing in black and is blending into the background?

Hi – Great plugin, thanks!

But we have noticed that the shortcode to output image hotspot maps does not output “Alt” text for the images presented on screen, even if Alt text is added to the image in the Media Library. This caused problem for accessibility, of course. Am I missing something, or are you able to introduce Alt text output for hotspot images generated in your shortcode?
