Replacement for Amadeus on Neve

Hi,

I’m used to working with the theme Amadeus, which is no longer supported. Your advice is to switch to Neve and previous posts seem to indicate there was a starter site similar to Amadeus at some point, but I can’t find it. Has it been discontinued, or has it changed names? Are there any starter sites that would provide the parallax header effect from Amadeus?

I love using this very useful and flexible theme. There are tons of options for header, typography, colors, and customizations. Though I was disappointed to see Amadeus get retired, Neve is a much stronger replacement. I am looking forward to implementing it on more of the sites I maintain.

Font Awesome 5?

Hello — I am trying to add additional Font Awesome icons to the social menu header, and one of the social icons I’d like to add is Goodreads, which is a new icon in Font Awesome 5. My other Font Awesome icons have worked, but the Font Awesome 5 icon is showing up as a white rectangle*.

Is there a way for me to fix this, or does this issue require a theme-wide update? I’m trying to keep all my changes in the custom CSS section so I can still update the theme without losing my customizations.

I have tried to add IMDB social icon to my Amadeus theme. I have used their step by step on how to add additional Fontawesome icons. I have done exactly as I should have including the code for IMDB icon etc. However my website still show a rectangular shape instead of IMDB logo. Could someone advise

I am building my website based on Amadeus theme, I am now using a child theme and trying to unify fonts across all display. I can use the customise/font build-in tool to change the font of posts and content within it, however I would like to change the menu font as well, to have one and only one font across all written words on the website, could someone advise?
Apparently there is fontawsome used for menu which makes it more complicated, any advice would be appreciated.

I have some issues with the latest versions of Amadeus. I am still using version 1.09 because the following issue.

In that version I am using the social media icons. The colour is changing when I hover the icons. In the latest version is it only one colour. Do you know how I can fix it. I would like to have the basic colour white (#ffffff) and the hover colour (#01c7f6).

I hope that somebody could help me!

Amadeus Update – Can no longer see blog title or tagline

I installed the update for the amadeus theme and now the blog title & tagline do not show up in my header. I’ve checked that it is still written in appearance – customize, and it is. Here is the link for my blog – https://flopsylife.com. It should show up about the black menu bar, but does not.

How do I fix this? I do not know much about coding so the simpler the fix, the better please!

Menu Problem

I installed free Amadeus 1.09. It was mostly fine but the menus were a problem. The text on the black dropdown menus was very dark blue, it was very difficult to read. The text on the black dropdown was loosing me visitors.

So, I backed up to Amadeus 1.06 and all is well.

Is this a unique problem? If you want to see the problem send an email and I will install it for a day.
