Oh NO! This is pretty scary for anyone trying to make a living from the Amazon Associates Program using API.

Can anyone answer this? Hopefully an Amazon Rep.:

Does the 2019 Product Advertising API requirement change notification effect this “Amazon Associates Link Builder Plugin”?

So we all received this email from Amazon stating the following:

You are receiving this message in relation to your associate account ######. We are writing to inform you that we are changing our Amazon Product Advertising API (PA API) access and request limit terms in order to better align PA API availability with associates’ usage. Effective January 23, 2019:

To retain access to PA API, associates must refer at least one qualifying sale through PA API in the last 30 days.

The PA API request limit for each account will be calculated based on the qualified sales referred during the last 30 days.

Is the “Amazon Associates Link Builder” Plugin considered to be part of this since it uses API?

I am really concerned about the plugin non update. The codes by this plugin are everywhere in the posts and it’s not possible to update every post very easily. I really love this plugin and it works well but still their are loop holes in terms of security.

Hi, I am trying to insert the code for the “add to cart” template into my website however when I go preview the page it displays this:

Buy from Amazon.%TLD

And not the the proper image, i am copying the code so it can’t be misspelled. Is there something wrong with the code? Am I missing something?

I read everything, I have it installed, and I see that this plugin is a library for S3 Offload and the other one. I just want to make sure I am clear. This plugin doesn’t actually do anything. It is just a library that is install on the site but that’s it. Right?

I am not sure if I missed anything so hopefully this comes across as a real question. On it’s own this resource does nothing?

Hello, I’m curious about using this plugin. I am an Amazon associates member and I need an Amazon search bar on my website so users can search for an item going through my site and see amazon results and I get credit for any purcahses that user makes. Does this plugin allow that?
