Amazon S3 Bucket CDN Setup Issue with Replace site’s hostname with: Field

Hello,

We have setup Amazone S3 using CDN feature, but when we added CNAME in the Replace site’s hostname with: Field, the front end URL gets spoiled, Actually our Site URL is https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming/

And in front end when CNAME replaced , it added /igaming/ after CNAME which is wrong path we want to replace it with fully site/home url https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming/. Please let me know what is the solution?

Hello! My website must be upgraded to PHP 8 or above. I am seeing a deprecation error for the AWS S3. Will your plugin be upgraded to support the newer PHP version?

Hi, we recently installed the plugin to send images to Amazon S3 bucket. We could see one warning message on the delivery setting. It says “Private media is currently exposed through unsigned URLs. Restore privacy by verifying the configuration of private media settings.”

Setting up IAM user for Amazon

Hi! I’m trying to set up Amazon S3 as my backup location. However the support article I located on your site is outdated, and I’m unsure how to proceed. Here’s the link I’m referring to:

When I get to actually setting the permissions for the IAM user I’ve set up, there’s no tab (that I can see anyway) for directly pasting in the permissions code given in the article. There’s just a checkbox interface for selecting from 1,080 different types of permissions. A bit overwhelming.

How do I proceed?

Incorrect URL with cloudfront

Hej!

I have a problem with the combination of offload and cloudfront.
When I upload the pictures one by one via the media library, the link will be correctly as cloudfront expects. But if I upload them via my add-on “Sunshine Photo Cart” which is supposed to work fine, it will use the regular Amazon S3 Url “amphoto.s3.eu-north-1.amazonaws.com” instead of the CloudFront Url “media.anjamogensen.dk”

I am not sure if that will have an influence on the bucket or general performance with download and upload time, but since I was adviced to use the CloudFront URL I would love to do so.

Use this for website migration because it moves feature image url.

I need to migrate over 15,000 posts to a new website. I tried ever migration plugin I could find but nothing would move the feature image url that was an Amazon S3 link. With this premium version of the plugin I was able to export then import into the new website. It worked wonderfully!!

Exporting post issue, No featured image and S3

Hi, I need help please. I have a wordpress website that I only want to move the post. The media that is on this website is hosted on Amazon S3. I select tools >> export >> post. On the website I’m moving the post to I go to import file and select Download and import file attachments. Everything works fine and all the media shows up on the post except the featured image. The featured image also in the Amazon S3 folder. Any thoughts on how I can get the feature image to move with the post from website A to B?

SVG offloading doesn’t work

Hello,

The SVG file type doesn’t offloaded. I have used the Regenerate thumbnail plugin for move the existing images from wordpress to Amazon s3 bucket. The all file types work well but SVG doesn’t offloaded.

Would you please help me with this? I’ve used the SVG support plugin but no luck.

I got a notification from Amazon about their TLS, and it reads as follows:

AWS is updating the TLS configuration for all AWS API endpoints to a minimum of version TLS 1.2. In preparation for this update, we have identified TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 connections to AWS APIs from your account that must be updated to maintain AWS connectivity. Please update your client software as soon as possible to use TLS 1.2 or higher to avoid the risk of an availability impact.

Since I am using AmazonS3 to host my videos and ARVE to play them, how is that going to affect my videos? Is there something you have to change to ARVE? or something I have to change?

Everything is working perfectly now but will that change?
