Are there any new plugins for anti spammer?

Hi,
I need to know if there is any new anti spammer/anti spam plugins out there. I have a new site, but need to stop the spammers from using the bots to sign up,etc.

Does anyone know of anything new plugins that can help me accomplish this?

customization issue and question

Hello,
I have a number of issues to deal with on my site. The first being customizing it. I do not know how to do this and need it done to launch the site.
In short, this is the existing site:

The second issue (or issues) is stopping robot (or spam sign ups). If it is possible, I could use help with the identification and termination of spammers on my site.

I realize there is a lot here to ask of anyone. The customizing part needs to be first.

newsletter plugin issue (really need help!)

Hi,
I tried to install a newsletter plugin a short while ago. When I activated it, my entire admin locked up and I wound up having to delete the plugin from my cpanel.

I have a micro jobs site that is growing in members every day, but would really like to build this newsletter (with rss feeds).

At issue is which newsletter plugin will work. Is there anyone out there who can help me with this problem/issue?

I really need some help with two questions:

1) To prevent spammers from signing up, which captcha plugin is best (I.e. easiest to set up and works with better wp security plug in)?
2) I wanted to add a newsletter plugin, but need to know which one is the best. I need one that will allow me to add a button to the member accounts (for opting in), is easy to use, and allows either text or html mailings.
