Putting seperate posts and links on seperate pages

Hi Guys,

This is what I am trying to do. I want the main page to only display posts that are in the “general” category. Now I have other sections like “design” for example. Now I want on that page to have all the posts I put in the “design” category. If I ticked both categories it will show up on both pages. I think it sounds simple enough but not sure how to do it.

Also is there a way to split up the blogroll for separate pages? (I understand that would be a fair bit harder).

Any feedback would be great.

Style switcher not working since 2.0.3 upgrade

I know that some people have had problems with WP themes since upgrading to 2.0.3, but I have a slightly different issue.

I run WP using my own layout (ie not a pre-built theme) and a style switcher made as per this article at A List Apart.

It has worked fine for a long time but since I upgraded to the latest version of WP it has mysteriously stopped working. When I try to change the theme using my drop down menu, nothing happens. I can change the colour scheme via Firefox’s menu but this doesn’t change the header graphic along with it.

Has an anyone experience similar problems? Can anyone help?

I hope you’ll excuse the mess on my tech blog. It’s a testing site for my main blog so the theme is quite unfinished, but I wrote up a tutorial on the css styleswitcher tutorial by A List Apart. It’s kind of a CSS Styleswitcher for Dummies (of which I am one). I hoped some people could critique whether it was useful and whether it is right.

words spaced apart in post

Hi does anyone know why sometimes I get spaced apart words in my post? It’s not all times and sometimes it’s in the titles and/or body. my blog is “www.kennyvelez.com/blog”.

By the way, if I upgrade to 2.0 will it keep all the mods I’ve done to the template?

“A Blog Apart” Theme Header Problem

The lower portion of the header, containing one’s motto or description, becomes truncated when viewed in a not-fully-open browser window (in IE & Firefox). Has anybody come up with a fix?

Text lines too far apart?
