I’ve changed a site’s WP theme, which had an fb:admins meta tag, with a new theme and this plugin. This plugin requires the fb:app_id, and does not have the fb:admins option. I’m not sure whether that’s the reason why all comments made earlier than this week have vanished.
]]>I’m having trouble getting Facebook to generate a preview of my website. I’ve scraped the site using the debugger tool, and while it’s showing a link preview in the debugger, the preview doesn’t come up when I share the link in messenger or a post. I’m also getting the following message in the debugger:
The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id
When I go into my Yoast, there’s no option to input a Facebook App ID. I read on another post it could be a third party plugin that’s disabling this option, but I can’t figure out which plugin would be causing this problem.
Any help would be much appreciated!

};
Is there any way that the plugin can work as intended but without the “AddToAny” text? Ideally with my own brand text replacing “AddToAny” text?

Can I customize this and put my site name+link? Thanks.
]]>When I post something on Facebook, the featured image never shows up. I’ve searched for answers and I’ve had no luck. Here is the message I get when putting my link in the sharing debugger:
The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.
I’m not good at code so I need an idiot proof way to fix this. Thank you in advanced!

]]>I use Yoast SEO at both sites. I did rollback to version 2.3.5 but the problem persists. When passing any URL from these two sites by the Open Graph Debugger I get errors that you can see in this screenshot:
This error appears even with items that previously could be shared properly. The OG Debugger says the app_id hasn’t been included in the meta tags, but the app_id is correctly in the meta tags.
The error does not appear on other sites that I have with the same hosting service (Namecheap). I don’t use Yoast SEO in these sites and are working well (i.e., https://circulodescritoresvenezuela.org ).
This makes us very upset because we trust this plugin and its latest update seems to have damaged something that is not resolved by uninstalling the plugin or rollback. Please, if anyone has a solution to this problem, I would appreciate the information. We have spent several days testing with other plugins and have not found anything that solves the problem.
