Archive widget not showing archived months

I’ve been using the plugin for months now. My site is news content, so it gets stale quickly. I set posts to archived status every 1-2 months, starting in January. I have the plugin set to only allow members to view archived posts. Maybe that’s the issue? I use the archive widget at a dropdown in my sidebar, but only the last 2 months are showing, destroying it’s purpose, which us to view archived content. Can you please help me figure out if it’s the plugin causing this? Or WordPress? And if it’s WordPress, how can I easily allow members to view archived news?

Changing archive and search widget colors?

Hi! I have two widgets in my sidebar I’m struggling to change the colors of.

For the archive widget, I was able to change the background and text colors but I cannot figure out how to change the arrow color for the drop-down menu. Moreover, once the drop-down menu is engaged, there is a border around the menu I can’t seem to get rid of…

On the search widget, I was able to change the background color and the color of the search icon. However, I’d like to disable the hover color on the icon and I’d also like to make the ‘Search’ text fully opaque (to match the text in the archives menu). I’ve tried playing around with the RGBA values in CSS but no luck.

If anybody knows how to solve these issues or can point me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Archive Widget directs to Homepage and not Post

Recently on at least 3 of my sites where I have used an Archive Widget for Posts, I am noticing that when clicking on the ‘month’ it takes me to the Home page and not the relevant Post.

I am using Yoast and SEOPress on these sites and if I disable them it works fine. I have checked for conflicts, asked the Theme developer but nothing is showing up that could be the cause.

Is anyone else having the same problem? It is suggested it could be something to do with WordPress.

I got archive widget to to work with CPT UI + Beaver Builder

Just FYI, I was able to get the archive widget part of plugin to work with CPT UI and Beaver Builder / Themer by REMOVING this line near the very bottom of widget-custom-post-type-archive.php

$link_html = str_replace( '?post_type=' . $posttype, '', $link_html );

This made the link output as 2020/11/?post_type=slugname instead of just 2020/11/slugname which was 404ing

Maybe this could be an official setting / frontend option in the future?

Hi.
I’m trying to remove the “Archives” and “Meta” from the sidebar in very page. I have tried multiple options and read multiple blogs on the same but still can’t remove it. Im using the “Store Commerce” theme for my eCommerce site.
Any working advice is highly appreciated.
Also, any suggestion for a “free” and good-looking better ecommerce theme (in terms of configurability) is appreciated.

Can’t delete “archive search” on my product gallery with woocommerce

I want to delete the archive widget from this page. It isn’t in my widget area nor is activated(?). Does anyone know how to fix this? I want this page to be centered and the archive widget doesn’t allow for that.

Theme I’m using is Ambika.

Hi,

I have no idea how long this problem has been going on, but I found out today, that my standard wp archive widget was not working, whereas search and last topic worked just fine. So I searched the net and after trying out many suggestions unsuccessfully. Then I disabled plugins and on re-enabling them, Clearfy turned out to be the culprit. With it deactivated, the archive widget works fine, with it enabled it just stays on the start page instead of diving into the link that was called from the widget. Any clues?

Is there a way to align the heigths of the posts previews in a row of a post grid, like in the posts widget or archive widget? [ redundant link removed ]
