I am using the GeneratePress theme on my WordPress site, and despite trying several solutions, I cannot remove the archive list that appears on the left sidebar of my blog.
I have checked the following:
sidebar.php
and functions.php
files but couldn’t find any code related to the archive list in the sidebar.I have also cleared the cache and disabled all plugins without success.
Has anyone experienced this issue or can suggest what else I could check to remove the archive list from the sidebar?
Thanks in advance!
]]>I’m not able to find how to remove the archive block in a single post, at the bottom of it. here’s a screenshot: https://sharer.woodpeckersnest.space/FuzE5/XAwEzUmO32/raw.jpg
Problem is I can’t find how to customize any other page than the homepage. Looked at the template’s files but still puzzled.
Can you help?
]]>I currently have installed the free version of VW Gardening Landscaping. With the most recent update widgets have appeared in my footer i.e. Archives, Meta and Categories. I have tried to remove these
via Appearance>customise>Widgets, but these elements do not appear in the Footer Navigation sections (see footernav1).
I have the Classic Widgets plugin installed, however, when attempting to view these additions they do not appear there either (see footernav2).
Please tell me how I can remove these elements. Thank you.
Simon
]]>Previously I managed to remove it via Loco translate by translating archives into *backspace*, which is not visible. But with every WP update I had to do it again. Right now I can’t find this exact word and remove it this way, not in theme translate menu, not in WordPress translate menu. Please help, I wish there is a way to remove it permanently.
]]>Is there a way to replace pagination in category and author archives with a load more button? Maybe using PHP?
]]>As the topic states, the dynamic content, which is the product Brand’s (custom taxonomy) image and the title, are not being shown correctly. I have created an archive with dynamic content specifically for this taxonomy. The issue is that when I load one brand’s site, its content is shown correctly (the image and heading). But if I open the page of another brand after it, the previous brand’s content is shown. It basically feels like the content is loading from cache, so it doesn’t update.
And if I wait for some time, or a few hours, the correct image will show. Maybe something automatically resets or refreshes?
But the thing is, I have tried in incognito, and on a different browser. No difference. There may be an issue with Elementor or WordPress which I don’t know. I am also not using any caching plugin.
Please see the screenshots.
For example, if I open this brand first, (See URL in the screenshot)

And then I open another brand. (See URL in the screenshot)

As you will be able to see, the heading and the image does not match. The correct image does not load. But it will load after I wait for some time, or maybe a few hours.
Please help me fix this. I don’t understand what the issue could be.
Thanks a lot.
