I spent the better 30 + minutes trying to figure this out. I am beat. I tried viewing the code edit instead of code edit in (Gutenberg WordPress installed). But couldnt find and code/snippet o select and delete. Nor could I find anywhere else to remove this off thumb on top, just under the portfolio page name/title. Just above a full size image and correct gallery blocks underneath. A mystery it even popped up. Didint exist earlier today.

Any ideas?

Is it possible to change the Caption text size?

Scenario: Upload images to Media Library. Write an image text/Caption. Open a page (or blog) and add an image to the page (or blog).

In this scenario a Caption text, I often see it as an important byline text underneath an image saying something about the image, and who took the photo or illustrated the image, and maybe a copyrigth symbol. (And good for SEO of course).

Situation today: I have a client who feel the caption text is too big. Its the same text/font size as the Paragraph text.

I solve this rigth now by manually go to the page (or blog), and manually write a text to the image and change text case/size/caption to “Heading 6”.

Best would be if that was possible in the Media Library or the Theme Options Typograpy section.

If this is a Premium feature, I totally respect and get that. If not, then I feel this would be very helpfull and definitely time saving.

First, I have one page in Swedish, and one in English.

With the first site I changed to Ascende (Swedish site), I used the Importer and changed my site afterwards. That allowed me to easily add which illustration/image I liked as my Home Page/Front page image (Parallax).

With my second site (English language) I didnt use the Demo Importer, but instead made all settings in the Theme Option and Customize in the English version site, like all the settings are in the first Swedish language site.

But, no matter how I have used the entire work day – almost – I can not figure out how to get a parallax image in the English siite. I cant find where to change this.

Any ideas?

I also noticed that the English site top menu have small squares instead of the regular triangle arrows. Havent been able to fix that either.

Using Worpress with Gutenberg.
I use a Self Hosted wordpress and Ascende Theme (Kadence theme).
You can see the website in question via my Profile avatar. In menu, just pick page

I ONLY use the default Primary Sidebar for my blog.
I therefore created a Sidebar 2, via Theme Options.
In the Sidebar2 I created, I chose to have NO Widget in the Sidebar2.

(Ps. At this time I thought only to use the Sidebar 2, to be able to quickly left align the pages, that are not the blog, so it looks better. but I also like to make it worrk, because I might get a client I create a website for, using this theme. and might need to be able to use at least two individual sidebars, for various pages.)

But, it doesnt seem to work.

In Gutenberg Right hand side, A wordpress page, I chose Sidebar Yes, and Sidebar 2.

But the pages neither get more narrow, nor do they seem to have the Sidebar 2 in action. Because text still flow all over the page width.

Can the reason be that I dont attached any widget to the sidebar2?

I use a Self-hosted WordPress site.
I am having problems with the Project page/Portfolio.

I use Gutenberg Version 4.1.1, for the moment. I keep updating each new Gutenberg version that arrives.

I have created a new Portfolio “project page”.
Project Layout, because all radio buttons are empty, I tried “Default”. Result nothing.
So I tried with Default again as well as having NONE of the above selected. – Result nothing.
I kept “project Options” to “Image”.
I kept “Columns” to “Three columns”.

In Portfolio Image Gallery”, I picked all from 1-6 jpeg images from the WordPress media library (The Standard palce for all images)

I also tried puttng a Youtube link in the Embed video. I used both a link from the browser. result nothing. And I alos selected and pasted a Youtube Embedd video link – Result nothing.

I have tried this several times, with various changes. No result.

The ONLY result I can see, is the Featured image, and text I wrote for the project in question.

Any ideas?
