How to move post from default type to new custom type?

I’ve added two new post types for my website for a show truck. I’m splitting the site into two main groups, one group for the original project and one for the new rebuild. All of the posts are in the default “Posts” section. Because I’m using the Porto theme, I have two different layouts depending on which group of posts is being viewed. Now I need to move the pages to one of the two new post types so they will use the corresponding layouts. I do not understand how to associate a post with a given post type.

Use WC for affiliate marketing?

Hey All!

I’ve been looking into doing some affiliate (Amazon) marketing and wondering if there’s any reason I should use WC for doing so? I wouldn’t be conducting any transactions on my site – just reviews and redirects to Amazon.

Searching online virtually everyone says to use WooCommerce – and I have no problems doing that – but I don’t see the advantage/reasons for using it – especially as I can’t find any plugin that imports items from Amazon directly into WC’s product pages.

Policy for Search Feature

Based on the documentation it’s not clear what AWS policy permissions are needed to activate the search feature for the IAM user I’m creating to run this plug-in. I’m aware ScratchPad is a thing now but it’d be more secure if this information was laid out in the documentation. What are the minimal policy permissions necessary to allow search functionality?

I use the Learning Management System (LMS) Learndash plugin, to give course.
With this plugin I create group with learners.
My courses are linked with one or several bbpress forums.

I want to use your plugin to associate groups with forums.

My question is :
How can I link a Learndash group to a group of bbpress to avoid having to manually add users in 2 groups

I tried several time to configure the plugin properly but it never accepts my access key. I tried to generate a new one but it did not work too.
How can I solve it?

Thumbnail Feature Request

Thanks for awesome plugin.
This is just a feature request. I request you to help us whenever you are free.
I enable thumbnail, then fetch a drive image (which is not added to media library yet) , then add it to media library, only original image is added to media library. Thumbnail is NOT associated with that image. I guess thumbnail should be associated too.
Please provide more image sizes options like thumbnail, medium, small etc. Or provide ‘filters’ where we can pass extra image sizes.
I am looking at the code too. If i am able to achieve, i will post the code.

installing Amazon widgets, links, etc

Your forum posts on this subject all seem to be well over a year old and I did try some, but they are no longer working (plugins) with the 4.2.2.
I have tried a variety of widgets, I have use the text pg to past my links, widgets, and downloaded more plugins than a person should have to. they all boil down to putting a ‘url’ link. Well amazon does not have simple url’s for associates (monetizing) it is like this:(an example of a text&image)

This shows up like a video box, on visual pge, online– not shown at all.

I want to insert into a post. I have not been able to get a clickable link and an image. I want a clickable image, they provide the code, but when I past it using the text page (as Amazon says) it does not even show up.

associateId not working

I have this great plugin installed and running but the only problem I have with it is I can’t get my associateId working.

I placed my Associate Id in the setting and tried it with the shortcode but it just won’t show.

Trackingcode and the rest works but the associateId is maybe the most important. Any ideas?

This is how I use the shortcode:

Amazon Associate Program

Hello,

I have just signed up to the Amazon Associate program and I am trying to link to a product (Text and Image) into a blog post.

I understand how to generate the html from the Amazon site however I don’t know where I post the html in my blog. I tried just pasting it in the post but that didn’t work, neither did it work pasting it in the script section of the post. Do I need a certain widget or something.

This is what the product code looks like, then it says to paste it into the code for your Website (thats what I’m having trouble finding)

Blank pages category issue

I have recently changes themes of my site to the genesis framework and associate child theme. Since the change I have pages that simply show a blank white page.

In the dashboard all the content is there yet when I preview the page is blank.

I also have Yoast SEO plugin installed with category removed from the url I am wondering if this si a conflict or if I can look anywhere else for answers.
