Hi there,

I am using Jetpacks Widget Visibility module to control content only to be displayed on the sidebar of selected pages.

Working with Author Pro theme / Genesis framework from StudioPress

Problem:
BOOK pages generated within the Author Pro library, unlike the other generic WP pages & posts are not displayed in the drop menu of the Visibility Widget to select pages.
Only STATIC pages are displayed in the drop down.

How can I fix this?

Featured Images Cropping Automatically

The Author Pro book dimensions are fixed to very thin books. My books are more like textbooks, the standard size being 8.5×11. I tried to upload these thinking the site would automatically keep the dimensions, but instead the site cuts off margins and displays awkward covers.

Author Pro directions say to crop all books accordingly: “The recommended book cover image upload size is 720 x 1140 pixels which will be displayed at 360 x 570 pixels.”

I would like to adjust this size to 850 x 1100, then let the crop sizes adjust automatically. In other words, I’d like to upload my images and have the books display proportionately WITHOUT indiscriminately cropping off edges.

Remove word “Library” from Author Pro Books Widget

I would like to remove the gray box and the word “library” that appears at top of Books page. I’m sure there is code I can access to remove it, but don’t know where to find it.

Hi, suddenly Google Search console alerted me to an error on my 2/3 year old site using the Author Pro plugin. When the e-commerce book link iandaniel.com/e-commerce/ (which is on a series) is clicked it directs to iandaniel.com/series/e-commerce/ but will not load the page, instead giving ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.

Any thoughts what the issue is?

I’d like to maintain the sidebar on the my website and thought it would be useful to move the book cover, meta & buttons to the sidebar itself. I realize I’d have to create a template for single-book.php first. Do you have a snippet for that?

Add “Purchase Now” button in category page

I’m trying to add a “Purchase Now” button under each book in the category page/book series page but can’t figure out how…

I would like to add that button so the visitor knows to click on it to purchase/get more information.

Using the Author Pro theme and Plugin…

The site is dedicated to a single author, and I’d like to be able to change the link behind the author’s name (https://staging1.daisypettles.com/book-author/daisy-pettles/) to go to an ABOUT page, instead of pulling up the Author’s books.

Add sidebar to book pages

Using the Genesis Author Pro theme with this Geneisi Author Pro plugin.
I would like to be able to add my site’s sidebar to the Book pages. There’s a lot of empty real estate on the right side of the book pages.

I have marked the Series page to use the default page format, which is content with right side bar.

The book pages do not have a page settings on them.

Author pro causing fatal error after update to Genesis 2.6.1

Hi There,

I’m reposting this request as I fixed the initial error, but still receiving a fatal error.

As soon as I updated my Genesis to 2.6.2 I received the following fatal error that resolved when I deactivated the author pro plugin. Any thoughts?
