Hi, the author spotlight works fine on all my post, but i don’t want it appear on my pages. It doesn”t appear on blog page, however does appears on my ‘home’ page. Is there anyway to get rid of this?

3.3 Upgrade – Issues with pagination and Author Spotlight

Hi .. hoping at the holiday season, someone can find it in their heart to help a WP Newbie with a few issues that presented after the 3.3 upgrade.

Since upgrade my pagination links on this page:
https://www.brooksinsurance.com/buzz don’t seem to work. The URL changes to page two, but i refresh with the same list of stories.

The other item is wp-author-spolight. It seems to be breaking my sidebar, as the contents are incomplete and widgets which should be below it are not… Check out: https://www.brooksinsurance.com/buzz/claim-commentary/claim-trends-dealing-adjusters/

I’ve tried disabling some plugins to see if conflicts are creating these issues… but since all of them serve some function, i’m not really comfortable with using that as a solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ll even tell Santa to put you on the nice list.

Hi! I’ve installed Author Spotlight widget but i’ve a problem, it doesn’t show the first author name but only the co-author one. Is it possible to show the first author above “read full profile”? I ask this because i’m thinking that, in the way as it is now, it’s not very immediate to understand that the first “read full profile” is to refer to the first author profile even if there’s the photo profile. Let me know, thanks.

Posts "404 Not Found" after editing user photo

Hi
I’m really new to this kind of thing! I’ve just installed the User Photo and Author Spotlight widgets, uploaded a photo and set my profile and everything was working fine until I decided to change to a different photo. Now I can’t view any of the posts – all I get is the 404 Not Found message.
Could this be because I didn’t tick the Delete Photo box when I changed the photo? And how do I sort it out???
If someone could explain in really simple terms I’d be very grateful!

Author Spotlight not finding author

Hi, I’m trying to use author spotlight and have come across a bit of a problem. I’ve widgetized my theme and got the plugin running, I also have and author.php file and a bit of bio for the author of my only post. However when I put author spotlight in the sidebar it displays the default avatar along with no author bio and links to posts by author=0 (there is no author number 0). Any idea how I can get it to grab the correct info for the authors.
