These practices should get you banned from WP.
]]>How is it possible, that after my plugin is activated, you get a message/notification to a different page where u can install recommended plugins. The notification part is not really my concern, it’s the part where the plugin can install other plugins that are recommended.
If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them
]]>I am using WHMCS to auto-create client accounts in WHM from my website. The accounts created are given a sub-domain as their new web address.
What I would like to do is auto-install wordpress on this sub-domain using PHP. My host does not use Softaculous so the extension available as a WHMCS add-on is unusable.
Any other ways I can implement? Thanks in advance.
]]>Everything seems to be working but it does not create other sites. When I add a new site, everything seems fine, it sends me the email confirmation and the new website is shown in my top admin bar. But the site does not show up: the URL does not work (Internal server error https://obaiti.com/mais) and when I click in the admin bar link the Dashboard does not load (internal server error). The main website works perfectly.
In the Network Dashboard it does not account the new site as well. It says 1 user, 1 site.
I decided to run the same file in my localhost and it shows the exact same problem.
I downloaded the latest file at https://www.ads-software.com.br/
Thanks!
]]>My site has been up and running for around 9 months now.
Somebody told me they could jazz it up for me and I foolishly let him have full access. He didn’t mean any harm but he thought it better to change the site to some other system other than WordPress.
Consequently, I lost control of it……because he is not very reliable etc.
Well, I have just put it back to WordPress. I downloaded it (version 3.1.1) and unzipped it.
Last time, if I remember rightly, it auto-installed. But this time it hasn’t.
Also, I cannot enter into WordPress Codex……it keeps saying that the password is wrong. No facility comes up on screen for ‘lost password’ – ie where your password is emailed to you.
How the hell do I get into Codex? Or get a new password?
To reiterate: (1) WP is downloaded but how do I get it to install? (2) What can I do about the password situation?
Please help!!
I am not very savvy!
]]>Any way to fix this short of reinstalling WordPress? Or would that even fix it?
]]>Im new to the site and was wondering if someone could help me with my WP install. I have a problem with the setup which was successfully loaded to localhost using WIN auto installer. However, during upgrade to WP3 in admin control Im asked to provide details of FTP etc of which I have no info..
Question: Would FTP have been loaded by windows initially and if so where would i be able to find details sos to continue with upgrade.
Would prefer an automated upgrade if possible.
Thanks in advance.
