If you want to continue using this plugin, purchase a new license instead of auto-renewing the old one. You will have 5 unique domains to transfer at the same price.
They love new users but hate old users.
When you transfer licenses between subsites under the same domain, they deduct the number of unique domains, even if the subsites are of this type: //your.unique.domain/subisite .
They merely will not count these types of license transfers towards your number of unique domains: //subisite.unique.domain/.
Even if the same unique domain is used for both of the above subsites.
]]>I am using the free version of PMP.
In 2021, I set up a recurring subscription level at $99. Some users signed up for it, and we later decided not to charge for membership so I turned off that level. It is not visible on the sign-up page, only a free membership.
In one user’s case, I see a charge in 2021, none for 2022, but they were charged $99 in 2023 for the annual renewal.
This user has just filed a chargeback with PayPal. I did not receive any request for refund from the user before that (neither directly or via the website).
The paid $99 level has been turned off for some time, so I don’t know why this user was auto-billed for the renewal.
Questions:
Your help is greatly appreciated
]]>Outcome:
The payment method is being saved to the user’s account. This looks like their PayPal email.
When the issue comes up:
Many users will attempt to manually renew a year later. Because their PayPal email was saved to their account, it looks like they can just click a button to renew.
But, they get an error.
I understand this has to do with PayPal billing agreements.
I’ve instructed them to delete the saved payment method from their account and try again – works every time.
So question: How do I stop the payment method from being saved to the account in the first place, but only when auto renew is *not* checked?
Thank you,
Kara
I will give 0 stars but unfortunately I can’t. I see other people have the same problem…
and also the plugin need custom setup because they work only maybe with there themes but with other you need to CSS
NEVER AGAIN !
]]>“This transaction cannot be processed. The country code in the shipping address must match the buyer’s country of residence.”
I’ve checked the country code on both Paypal and Paid Memberships Pro and both are set to United Kingdom (GB).
If I try to checkout a membership without a subscription this works fine. I’m currently testing in the Paypal Sandbox and need to get this working ASAP as we really need to get out memberships live by 1st October as that is the start of our new membership year. Has anyone else come across a similar problem? Do I need to set up a subscription on Paypal itself for it to match up to? Am completely baffled by this one as it was working fine up until Friday.
Thanks for any help/ideas on how to resolve!
]]>Please help. It should auto-renew shouldn’t it?
Thanks

]]>We need to “Display their content until” the date of the renewal so that users are notified automatically the page or post will be taken down and ideally they can “Renew” their advert for the coming year.
Automatic notifications 30 days and 10 days before the page is unpublished would be idea as would online payments if possible.
Many thanks
Paul
If you still decide to give them money, be careful. When you pay the default setting will be set to auto renew. Just by chance I noticed that. It would have rally made me even more frustrated with this plugin, if they had charged me again after 6 months.
Overall crapy plugin and business practices.
