]]>We’re using Woocommerce and Yith for subscriptions to virtual courses. Previously when customers ordered them it would save their card payment method automatically to charge them monthly (using stripe via the woocommerce payment settings). Recently renewals have been going unpaid and it seems card info isn’t saving. I’m aware there’s a checkbox for customer to manually choose to save their details, but they didn’t need to in the past for subscriptions. Is there any way to force/auto save this specifically for subscription products?
Thanks!

]]>it’s cumbersome and slow for countries with slow Internet. But over all it works great with quick drag and drop options . However due to the financial collapse our team learnt how to build websites, and within 10 months managed to produce the same product , faster and more efficient. However for people who do not wish to invest 10 months from their time to learn programing online (javascript , php and html ) elementor gives you all the tools required to get the job done on a professional level.
Becareful of the auto renewal. I personally deactivated the auto renewal but for some reason it didn’t take , could be because of the crappy Internet in Lebanon or whatever. But if you don’t get an email confirming then it didn’t happen. And according to elementor, refunds are only for new contracts , so renewals are not protected .
also check your junk mail since elementor emails might be in junk. And the auto renewal is only one email sent 1 month before the operation. For some the low fee of elementor Pro might be nothing , but for us that amount is massive , especially after the financial collapse.
Apart from that. Elementor is a very good plugin to have if you want your website to look professional
]]>I have a questions surrounding auto-renewals.
We have a situation with a client website, the setup is as follows:
Client offers subscriptions both as a one-off year, and automatically renewing.
The Expiration field present in PMP meta is linked to their CRM, which is very important.
Obviously due to the way that PMP has been made, the Expiry date is not updated +1 year when a successful auto-renewal goes off.
From the instructions that I have seen, auto-renewals must NOT have an expiration date, but in this case it’s needed to keep track of when memberships are expiring/due to renew.
Is there any way of imposing a 1 year expiration date for auto-renew members, that is updated +1 year at the point of renewal billing cycle?
Please provide clarity ASAP!
Thanks in advance,
J
]]>So, I have WooCommerce Subscripitons enabled on the site. The parent order works fine, but for PayPal Checkout, auto renewal gives error.
I see “PayPal API error Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.”
The renewal works fine for Stripe. Furthermore, I had a user test it out and show me pics of settings. It shows information that it’s a recurring payment. Their Subscriptions tab on their account shows it’s a recurring payment.
But then I checked the Recurring Payment Dashboard on PayPal, I find that all the subscriptions are set to $0.
The parent order was $9.99 and went through just fine. No Free trial was set.
I checked with PayPal and they confirm that they are receiving $0 from the API for recurring payment. And if it weren’t coming in as a subscription, they would not show up at the Recurring Payment Dashboard to begin with.
Something is wrong with the Subscriptions Backend.
Thing is, I’ve used this plugin before. Things worked fine. No issues. So, why are there issues now?
Can someone help me? (I’ve tried submitting a support ticket via woocommerce.com, but they don’t seem to be working. There is no indication that one was submitted, no email or list int he ‘previously submitted tickets’.
]]>One year after getting that extension, they charged me on PayPal with the license renewal when I thought it was a one-time payment plugin. In my profile area I cannot find a way to deactivate this renewal or my account. I contacted support to ask for a refund and to deactivate my account and I’m not getting any answer.
This is just a fraud and very frustrating.
I just cannot recommend this plugin or any product related to these developers.
