Hello. When in the modern WordPress editor, if I try switch from Public to password protected I get and error upon pressing Update. Error: “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.“

After deactivating all plugins I was still getting the error. I got it to go away by deactivating the Astra theme and using a WP core theme. After reactivating Astra the error continues if you want to edit the password protection but at least I can momentarily deactivate the theme to make the update to it. More or less I think I am reporting a bug. If not please let me know if there is something I can do to fix this.

All the products in my shop automatically got assigned into AUTO DRAFT category

The page linked is an expamle. It happened with every product and every category. When I search in categories for AUTO DRAFT it’s not present there, so I have no idea how to remove it.

I want to remove it because it doesn’t look good and professional.

I’m developing a magazine/blog site with wordpress for my school project. After selecting theme and all that stuff, I started to add my content into site via posts section in wordpress. After writing some articles i noticed that my titles are all “Auto Draft”. After many tries, i managed to fix it for some of my articles but others remain same. I’ve fixed it even with JQuery in add post section but it only fixes when I’m viewing that post. When I look at my posts in home page article’s title is same:”Auto Draft”. Can you help me fix that? Thanks in advance.

When i create new post(new form for submitting) is it possible to automatically save the post/acf fields in draft every 2 mins using ajax and update the id and then when user submit the form it should change the status to pending for approval

I have notifications switched on for when admin or an editor posts anything new or makes any changes.

Today an editor on one of my sites created a new post. I received the following via email which I would normally expect:

I then received the following email which I was not expecting:

The second email has worried me because it has come from the admin account. I did not action this. It also reads “Post status” (instead of productions status) and has a different ID.

I noticed that you upgraded the plugin today. Is the admin email I’ve received related to the new post that the editor has posted or is this a separate alert which I should investigate further?

It’s also worth noting that when I go to the posts within WP admin (https://www.domain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=539&action=edit), the posts are completely blank.

How to Disable Autosave/Autodraft in WP4.0

Hello,

I’ve searched an answer for how to disable autosave/autodraft in WP4.0. When adding a post the autosave will prevent the “Publish” button from becoming selectable. I have already edited my wp-config.php and added the following lines:

define(‘AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL’, 86400);
define(’WP_POST_REVISIONS’, false);

But that seems to do nothing. Can anyone put me in the right direction with this issue?

Screwed up archive/category display

I found that (when viewing posts in specific categories) WordPress 3.4.2 began to fail to display posts – either with a 404 error, or by displaying autodraft files or content from other categories. Disabling one plugin at a time revealed “Search Unleashed” to be the *apparent* problem.

Hi there, I have wordpress installed and i’m currently experiencing the following issues:

1. In multi-file uploader, files stick at end of crunching
2. Normally when I draft a post, after putting in title and moving cursor to main content part, the permalink would appear… it’s not doing that
3. Not automatically saving drafts

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix these issues without a complete reinstall of wordpress etc?

I have these 2 Autodraft links that have appeared on my top menu bar under the header.

Can anyone give me directions (in beginner terms, not great at Word Press) on how to remove these 2 links?

They are not appearing in my ‘pages’ in the editing section of my dashboard.

Please help, thank you.

Oh, and I want to add – if I switch a another theme, it is not there, only with my actual theme, not the test themes.
