I used very known plugin and many times during creating of the backup the plugin was failing, this one 100% every time works. Great futures, does everything and more what I need. Hi, whether you’re creating a new backup or editing an existing one, there’s this option ‘Backup Only Files Modified/Created After’ which in the 1st case shows you a calendar to choose an day but not in the 2nd.

That is you can choose a specific date (eg. 25 june 2023), which may be interesting for a “one shot” backup, but for automatic daily backups (for instance), you’d need to specify ‘yesterday’.

How can this be achieved?

Backups saving to Google Drive even though I have uninstalled the plugin

Hi, I uninstalled Updraftplus a few weeks ago as it never worked properly. I’ve realised today that it is still backing up to my Google Drive. I no longer have the plugin installed so how do I stop these backups from happening? Thanks.

I have used this free version to restore a website in the past and it worked. I have it installed on several non-money-making sites, including my most recent project, a non-profit site that includes a calendar/event registration system. Since it is a dynamic site, it is very important that it gets backed up nightly. I love that the backups happen automatically without me having to think about it, and I get an email the next morning telling me it worked. I set the automatic backups to be sent to my Dropbox account.

I recently deleted this plugin then reinstalled. Since then, it has been performing 2 backups/day at the same times. The problem is that I have explicitly NOT defined a backup schedule. This thing has a mind of it’s own. How can I correct this?

No notification when automatic backup fails

I have the Google Drive extension installed on several sites and mostly this works great. Daily backups are scheduled for around 3:30 AM. On several occasions, though, a couple of the sites have not backed up, and I’m not getting a notification about the failures. I have the boxes checked to receive notifications for success and failure of backups. I don’t believe there have ever been failures two days in a row. Why am I not getting notifications? And why do you think I’m having the intermittent failures to begin with?
