Does not work, terrible documentation

I’ve been using WordPress for about 12 years. I’ve worked with many different plugins. I’d like to think I know my way around. But when I see instructions like “drag the Ad Inserter Widget onto the sidebar menu” with no clue about where I can find the widget, I get frustrated. It looks like it’s only available in the Pro version. If I can’t get the free version to work, why would I pay €20 or 30 for the Pro version?

I understand the need for income. The bit I don’t understand is why is the documentation not more explicit around what is actually offered in the free version.

The free version is essentially just a banner, nothing more. Script blocking etc doesn’t work, even though the option appears in the settings. This should be made way more obvious.

Habe selten so ein schlechtes Zahlungs-Plugin gesehen … Und das von einer UBS Tochterfirma. Hoffen wir mal dass die Mutterbank die IT besser im Griff hat.

St?ndig Fehlermeldungen obwohl API korrekt verknüpft. Keine Dokumentation, habe per Zufall hier in den Kommentaren eine E-Mail Adresse entdeckt. Ein einfaches Setup sieht anders aus. Werde für den Onlineshop auf einen anderen Zahlungs-Anbieter wechseln.

No E-Mail Support. Only support through tickets what is ok. BUT if you don′t type all informations into the ticket, INCLUDING YOUR ADMIN OR FTP ACCOUNT to your WP they will charge you 39€ per each missed information in the ticket! This means by fact NO SUPPORT! Even if you paid for the pro version. But to go there you have to agree that your storno right ist deleted. But you need support because the doku is so poor. And if you try to dispute at PayPal, the plugin-publisher will charge you 79€, “as agreed in terms and conditions”… So this is all legal but imagine the mindset of these guys…
Over all this are very bad people with a very bad mindset and I don′t want them to be part of my projects. I deleted the plugin. Have fun with my money!
UPDATE: You′d better try “CM Tooltip Glossary” from CreativeMinds. This is what I use now. Good people, good plugin!

Sorry, but I tried it and nothing works. The documentation does not help either or is misleading. No widget is available. No price filter is available (it states that this is added automatically). The settings page is strange and I have no clue what it says. Sorry, i don’t mean to be rude. But this is not finished. Though i must dmit the demos look cool. maybe it just needs some proper documentation oder some correct hints to set it up (even the shortcode has a typo “custome” instead of “custom”).

Docomentation is practically zero.
Only half of the function is fulfilled.
Support ended after 2 questions
Developer obviously has no intention to help a user.

Says easy to get to work. Not true. “Documentation” almost nonexistent. Available instruction link leaves out major steps needed to explain process and get plugin to work. No updates. No website for plugin. No contact info with developer.
All around thumbs down. If I could give it a zero I would. One star is too many.

Can be tricky to implement

This plugin needs to not put form fields inside a

tag so that it does not override my theme’s CSS.
Also needs to allow the field name to be in a placeholder instead of a separate text label.
Biggest issue: the plugin displays a success message that the user is subscribed, but the user was never added to contacts or to a list. Read conflicting documentation on how the plugin works. WHAT I LEARNED: the forum posts are wrong — does not require an optin checkbox to add users to Constant Contact, BUT unless the “one minute delay” is disabled in the settings the plugin does not actually submit subscribers to Constant Contact or add them to my list. Did finally get the API to work.

I’m trying out this plugin, because i’m under impression it would do exactly what i needed. But i i just don’t understand how to configure it. I’ve already looked at the documentation … but it’s all in Spanish(i think?). Also tried Google translator on it. But even then, it makes no sense because the documentation gets poorly translated.
I only want to ship to my own country.
What i’ve got set up now is:

1|2.25|C1
2|5.00|C1
5|6.75|C1

But it doesn’t seem to work properly, and doesn’t show up at the checkout page. I’m probably doing something wrong, but i don’t know what.
Also tried looking up video’s on Youtube, but with no success. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks in advance!

Your documentation is full of mistakes. Latest one I found was at https://docs.getshopped.org/documentation/wpsc_end_category_query/

In this case, you state wpsc_end_category_query() is in category.functions.php. It is not. After near 2 hours, I found it in /wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-components/theme-engine-v1/helpers/product.php

You have made it abundantly clear on your website that you don’t care to be contacted unless we pay you. So, I have no choice but to publicly ask you to sift through the outdated and wrong info on your documentation.
