Blurry photos

Hello,
Hope you can help because i don’t know what the problem can be.
I upload all my pictures in 1500 for the longest side. To have the best picture possible as i have a travel blog.
However, when i use cascade or justify gallery with only 1 picture, the quality is down, and picture is blurry.

It seams that something, (wordpress ? another plugin ? a bad setup of meoww ?), is resizing the image, and then zooming it….

Quality is a nightmare

We’ve been using Betterdocs for more than a year now. In general works OK, but it seems they are releasing their software completely untested.

We have mentioned several bugs that usually occurred after an update like broken layout, changing search mask, changes in order of articles etc. After many emails they finally fixed the issues, which is great.

The really bad news: it seems there is no regression test taking place. The bugs come back sooner or later and we are back in the time consuming email bug report loop.

Today we really regret to have chosen Betterdocs. We’ve spend sooo much time with these repeating bugs, our users are confused and we are about to give up the plugin.

This plugin is a quality nightmare and should only be used by the very brave – or if you have no responsibility to your users.

Serving wrong resolution images

Hi,
I’ve installed the plugin and activated compression using VIPS.
It does seems to work, but when I open my website the image quality is terrible.
When looking at the source code, i see that the tag does contain several urls with the same photo in different resolutions.
For some reason, my website is displaying a bad resolution of the photo, instead of a proper one.
You can see at the url mentioned:
This is a original image:

This is a very decent compression, which is included inside the tag:

However, instead my website is displaying a upscaled version of this file:

Which of course looks terrible because its a tiny image upscaled.

Any idea how to make the browser display the better resolution instead?
I’m using chrome with the latest updates on windows.
My website is using the paid Uncode theme.

we post our WorPress-posts on different social media channels and on every channel the image in the post is in a high quality except on instagram.
Do you have any idea why the image isn’t that clear?

I was only using on 1 site, but not anymore, the whole disqus comment feels more like a scam, you get a hosted comment system but then they keep changing and adding more and more spammy things, its no longer just a clean comment system its whole misleading spam system, a shame!

WP generates ugly inaccurate thumbnails

Hi,
i updated WP to 4.7, don’t remember why turned off all plugins to update them, and after turning everything on all my thumbnails have changed into something ugly. Now i can’t force WP to generate accurate thumbnails.

Here’s an example:

Thumbnails look like someone applied some filters to them, and cut out dark tones.

I tried regenerating thumbs with all plugins turned OFF, clearing my cache, creating custom JPG quality methods in functions.php, but nothing works.

How can i fix it? Wheres the code responsible for creating thumbs?

I am using theme Customizr.
For some time, suddenly, quality of images in the posts has worsened – they are blurred.
It became so also with images that were previously sharp.
What is interesting that is in Firefox and Chrome, in IE pictures are sharp.
Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s fault of theme.
Could someone help me?

Thumbnail generator uses wrong reference

Since my last update the thumbnail generator does not work properly. When uploading a new image (same size as others that worked before the update), the created thumbs use a smaller reference instead of the original image and do look really bad because they are blown up instead of being reduced in size.

Is this a bug, or something I can fix?
