Hi Danny,
Here is what is going on:
Bad Behavior adds a hidden form field to all forms on the web page, the contents of which you saw in that error message. The reason for this is to catch spammers who try to submit the form but aren’t capable of running the JavaScript, or who cache a copy of the form and submit the form from an old copy such as the one in Google’s cache. This catches quite a bit of spam.
However…
I took a look at the code in the Entry Wizard plugin. It is going over every form field, and when it finds one it doesn’t recognize, it throws the error message that you saw. Most other plugins just ignore form fields they don’t recognize and do nothing with them.
I might be able to work around this, but I suggest you also contact the plugin author of the Entry Wizard plugin (and forward a copy of this mail; it will help) as they may be able to fix it more easily from their end.
I hope we can find a work-around as Entry Wizard is precisely what my club site needs and Bad Behavior too as I haven’t had any spam come through.
Thanks Danny

You should add this to whitelist page of BB in WordPress one per line. Add this to Bad Behavior whitelist and update.
Make a check in Google Webmaster and mostly, there will be a success in index, when you “Fetch as Google”.
If you find some other user agents, please post here.
Thanks in advance and I hope this list helps some one.
Regards,
Christopher
While the “IF NOT EXISTS” condition keeps it from creating the table over and over, it is still using system resources by checking every time a visitor hits my site. In the mediawiki version of Bad Behavior there is a CONSTANT (BB2_NO_CREATE) that can be set to tell it to skip the CREATE TABLE call.
Why is there no CONSTANT for the WordPress version and how can I prevent CREATE TABLE from being called needlessly over and over? We only need to CREATE TABLE once when the plugin is installed.

]]>I did it on a friend’s site last night. Uploaded the new 2.0.10 to her site, then went in and activated it, and was greeted with a 403. Any page I went to in the admin also generated a 403. I deleted the plugin from her server and all went well.
This was a first for me. Would I just be better off moving over to Spam Karma instead?
]]>I am truly not all that knowledgeable with how these spam plugins work– or how spambots work in general, so I apologize if I sound like an idiot.

]]>If there’s a link in the forum to a thread which covers this ground, pls. let me know.
Otherwise, I wonder what folks think about these plugins? The 2 I now have are doing a pretty decent job. BUt I always believe in upgrading to something that might work more efficiently (if akismet does that). I’d like to hear what folks think of Akismet compared to the others
]]>I upgraded to 2.0 yesterday and didn’t have any problems whatsoever, however today I’ve had a few emails from friends who are receiving the following message when they try to access my site:
Precondition Failed
We’re sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for / on this server. We have established rules for access to this server, and any person or robot that violates these rules will be unable to access this site.
To resolve this problem, please try the following steps:
Ensure that your computer is free of viruses, Trojan horses, spyware or any other sort of malicious software.
If you are using any sort of personal firewall or browser privacy software, check to ensure that its settings do not cause your web browser to inadvertently violate any of the rules listed below. If you are behind a Web proxy or corporate firewall, the proxy must conform to the HTTP specification with respect to proxy servers. Contact your network administrator if the trouble persists, or bypass the proxy and connect directly if possible.
Disable any download accelerators you may be using. They don’t speed up your downloads anyway; in most cases, they actually run slower!
If all else fails, try using a different Web browser, such as Firefox.
If you still need assistance, please contact –
Is this to do with Bad Behaviour? If so, does anyone know how I can fix things so that people can access my site again?
Many thanks.
]]>I’ve downloaded “Bad Behavior” and I’m about to upload it and switch it on.
The install/use instructions recommends turning verbose logging off due to the size of the log that will be generated.
I believe that simply means making the following change to the bad-behavior-wordpress.php file:
// Log all requests to the database, not just failed requests.
$wp_bb_verbose_logging = FALSE;
The line originally read “True” at the end.
Is this all I need to do to turn verbose logging off?
Thanks.
]]>whats going on? i used to get random hits from them from time to time, but its going non stop now…
