Auto excerpts are not generating on Bangla language mode

Excerpt works fine in English language mode. When I go to the Dashborard > Settings > General Settings and change Site Language to ????? (Bangla), then auto generated excerpts (First few words of first paragraph) are not generating/showing.

I tested it using Twenty Twenty-One theme in several WP versions. Then I found that, upto version 5.2.9 there was no such problem. From version 5.3 this problem is occurring.

I have no idea how to solve this problem. Probably a WP Core problem.

I asked the question on StackExchange around two months ago. But still helpless.

Hi there my site content are Bengali and I want to translate tab label into Bengali. I want to translate it using poedit software but I didn’t find any pot file in your plugin. How can I do that? I contribute wordpress for translating but those aren’t apporve!

Hi,
Peace be upon you. Thanks for the excellent plugin. I am having a simple issue which is
Unicode Bengali Text Not Showing in Invoice PDF. I tried to embed the custom font using font-face but still no change. Some Unicode Bengali font is SolaimanLipi, Siyam Rupali, Kalpurush etc. (Search on google to find the font download link). How do I solve this issue? Thanks in Advance

language hacks

hello,,

i am running my site in third party server. i am posting blog posts in bengali language (eg. -??????-???).

it was running well. but some hackers was hacked my site, after that i can’t see the bengali language. it’s showing some other language (eg. à|?à|?à||à§?à|° à|?à|￥à|?)

can anyone help me to get back my language ??

Hi,

I download latest translated WordPress pack and wish to change my website to my language. I uploaded language folder to wp-content and adding

define (‘WPLANG’, ‘bn_BD’)

to wp-config file but no language appear on Site language option. Here is the language folder location screenshot. Anything new add in 4.2.2? Need help to change the language..
