So far very impressed and pleased with ‘Clean Login’, it works really well. One query that I did want to ask about though was the use of another plugin to send out customised password reset emails instead of the default message Clean Login uses.
We are currently using ‘Better Notifications for WP’ developed by ‘Made with Fuel’, to do this. I have a really nice, customised template set up in there explaining the password reset process to our users, who to contact if they have problems, and then using one of the plugins’ shortcodes I provide the password reset link.
When using the [clean-login-restore] shortcode to reset passwords for users on the front end, they are sent a default message by the Clean Login plugin.
Is there any way that we can change this to use the email from ‘Better Notifications for WP’? Currently that email is only sent if the password is reset at the form on /wp-admin
Look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Kind Regards,
Tim
I have a custom post and I use ACF Frontend to have a frontend form for users to submit a custom post.
I also have “Better Notifications for WP” to send notification emails when a new custom post is published, it works fine when published from WP editor but it doesn’t send any notification when the post is submitted from the frontend.
In another frontend plugin, they have a workaround to add a filter in funcions.php that trigger the post creation and when I tried, it worked fine, is there something I can do to have it working with ACF Frontend too ?

]]>We just installed the plugin. When we try to add a new Notification, we get a blank white screen.
We have WordPress 5.1.1. Maybe it is not compatible?
Would appreciate your help.
Thanks,

URL (after signing up): https://stg.alamedactc.org/manage-subscriptions/ is blank if a user is not already opt into notifications type. I have about 10 different notification types, but want subscribers/other account types to pick what they want to opt in and out of. Do I have to opt all users to these notifications first and then have them decide? The form is blank if a user is not already signed up for a notification by an admin in the backend. Defeating the purpose of opting in and out. Please help, I have the add-on and everything.
]]>I am getting emails from bbpress as long as I’m subscribed but none from Better Notifications. I installed the email log plug-in and see the bbpress emails but no others. I want admin notifications from Better Notifications whether or not I’m not subscribed to topics or replies.

Thanks for any help.

]]>ini_set('sendmail_from','[email protected]')
First, is this correct? There’s a plugin “Better Notifications for WordPress” that sends email, but the email gets blocked from my email server because there is not ‘From’ header info in the message. Thanks in advance.
Also, I do not have access to the PHP.ini to change it from there.
]]>I have been using this plugin for a few months now and it’s really helping me.
I do have one question.
Would it be possible to add a shortcode pointing to the URLs that WordPress creates when a comment is in moderation?
Normally you get a notification from WP saying you can:
Approve the comment by clicking on an URL such as website.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=approve&c=ID
Is it possible to add this functionality? There is only one URL shortcode for comments in BNFW plugin (Permalink: [permalink]) and it’s to the comment itself but when a comment is in moderation, that link doesn’t really point to anything since the comment hasn’t been approved just yet.
Could we get add this functionality in BNFW so the email for new comments could contain URLs for approving, spamming, or adding it to the bin?
Or maybe this can already be done? If so, how?
