Our business site is connected with Big Commerce and we control/edit/add our products through Big Commerce, but our actual site is designed on WordPress and you are on the WordPress site until checkout where it redirects you to the Big Commerce checkout. After reaching out to Big Commerce support the issue is through WordPress, he mentioned something about syncing our products through WordPress, but not sure how to do that. It’s on our treat page we are having duplicate products showing up and some aren’t on the page even though everything behind the scenes shows they are visible on the storefront and some of the listings have even been totally deleted yet are still showing up.I’m wondering how to fix these listings and get rid of the duplicates and get other to show up at all. All of our other pages are totally fine, so that is why I’m confused.
]]>Is there a solution or going to be a solution for WP X BC to work with GA Enhanced Ecom Tracking? Topher and team said almost 2 years ago in the community forum this was getting looked at but nothing has come through and numerous people have asked on the BC community forums since but nobody is replied to and are ignored? Noticed a few people have moved to Shopify over this and can’t understand why a solution is not out yet.
Currently, if you use WP and BC there is no way to track sales which is a very very basic function for an Ecom site. If anyone is going to take this plugin seriously this needs to be fixed. We are already way too deep and committed to move but this is a major issue.
]]>I have been having issues with my new products in big commerce not syncing over to wordpress. The weird thing is that in the BC4WP plugin in wordpress it says that all the products are imported correctly, but the new ones are missing.
BC support says it appears to be an issue on the wordpress end because there are no errors in big commerce.
They suggested I remove the BC plugin and reinstall it, which I just did and now none of my products are importing, despite a message displaying they were all successful. So our shop is totally empty :(.
I am trying to restore from a backup that will hopefully get me back to just missing the new products and not my entire catalogue.
Is anyone able to suggest anything as to why my products are no longer importing into wordpress??
]]>My problem is this: When the BC plug in is installed it negatively impacts the link search option in Gutenberg editor.
For example if I link to an info page and try and create the link the Gutenberg editor will only suggest product links to me. All info pages no longer show in the search. Just product.
Without the Big Commerce plug in it works fine.
Obviously I need both though.
Is that doable? How?
