Hi,

I would like to find out if following scenario is possible with Woocommerce.

The product would work as binary file processor:

user is expected to upload his/her files
the files gets processed by external service
if processing went fine (and the final files are available on the storage) the user is expected to pay
after the payment the user is able to download his/her goods

Does woocommerce suppor such integration?

Is this a warning? Can anyone explain why this message should appear?

limitation for Paired-bonus

I want to make Binary MLM with 3 types of membership. Each membership will receive different amount of paired-bonus, different commission and with limit of paired-bonus (say Gold membership can only get paired-bonus max.USD 500 in a day but Platinum membership can get up to USD 1K a day.

Can your plugin deliver these tasks?

Im looking for a solution to download the files directly from the extended-export-link. I’m working with filemaker and want to put the files in a container in my solution. I am receiving the Links to the files instead, but i can not receive the files with the link, because i can not send user and password in the link to download the data from the database…

Any sugestions?

I’m having trouble with enabling page caching. It activates fine, but replaces front end pages with an endless stream of binary stuff.

I’m not too savvy, though. Has anyone managed to fix this?

Backing up with FTP

When making a manual backup using FTP what is the best transfer type to use? Auto, Binary or ASCII? I could not see it in the codex.

Are there any issues with file corruption?

I also make a backup of the database using phpmyadmin

Whilst I am on the subject whats the best free plugin for backing up.

Hi, I just released the EWWW Image Optimizer, and while it works for me, I’m wondering if it’s possible to make it easier for other users to use. The root of the problem is that it depends on the user installing (or their webhost already having) 3 programs for the optimization: jpegtran, optipng, and gifsicle. I’m wondering if it is permissible (and hopefully possible) to distribute statically-compiled binaries with my plugin? Another option would be to have these files hosted elsewhere than the wordpress repository (if that’s an issue), and have a button that folks could click to download the binary and install it in the plugin folder.

optipng is under the zlib license (https://optipng.sourceforge.net/license.txt) which only seems to indicate that attribution should be given where possible

gifsicle is GPLv2, and jpegtran has the following condition on binary distribution which should not be a problem to comply with:
(2) If only executable code is distributed, then the accompanying
documentation must state that “this software is based in part on the work of the Independent JPEG Group”.

Any other advice or recommendations that anyone has on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
