On each of my blog posts, there’s a brief description of me/the website. It starts with the word ‘trailsnet’ and gives a short bio. Unfortunately, it is out of date, and I’d like to change it, but I can’t figure out where/how to do that. I’m assuming it’s somewhere on my dashboard, but I don’t know where. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have started using this plugin and it showed great but now it stopped working for new users.

When I add an image and bio of the author it was showing them nicely before, but for new authors I add now it does not. You can check the following examples to see:

Also, is there any change I change the slug from /author/ to /autor/ so it fits better the language of the website?

Cannot update user profile data – getting error

I went it to Users > All Users and tried to update my bio (I’m the admin), but when I try to save the changes I keep getting this error – “Error:?Sorry, that username is not allowed.”

I’m not editing the user name (I couldn’t even if it wanted to, since the admin username is not editable). Is this a known error? I’m not able to update any user information (including my author bio) due to this error.

I’m on WordPress 6.4.2 and not using any special user/author plugins — this is just the normal WordPress User interface.

I can import manually (by edit, enable and save) old blog posts but – if possible – I prefer to import bulk and just excerpt
ATM in imported blog article I’ve some comments, but not merged in forum reply. Is this possible?

Thanks for this Authors plugin, a great addition for us.

Are we able to add the author bio link or display it somehow when using this shortcode? Perhaps after clicking the name of the author? OR adding an icon next to the author name? We want people to learn more about the author besides those posts they’ve written.

The biography does not subtract space breaks and formats all the text in a single block, i.e., it should be

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.

And the bio leaves the text thus:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.
