Black images instead of the page image

Hello Support,

My client and I are experiencing black images instead of the actual upload image for each page.

I’ve compressed the images as far as I can without compromising the quality are you able to tell me why they are black?

While at first glance it looks spectacular. I have struggled for 4 days now to remove the white space above the sliders and images on all pages.

I have also struggled to remove the black image that appears on all pages when you untick the “comments box on the quick edit.

So consequently, my home page looks a shambles with white spaces and black images. I have used so many other themes, and never had this level of exasperation. But this is one that my client likes.

Plus, I posted a support topic that has not been answered. And they never appear to be answered unless there is a bad review posted.

Woocommerce images with black colour become unclear after resizing

Hi there,

I’ve been using woocommerce for some time but never had this problem.

Product images which contain a lot of black become very unclear after being resized. Look at these:

Website is slower and some images are black after optimizing

Hi there,

I just installed the plugin and bulk optimized all of my previously uploaded images. My blog is slower than before and some of the images are now appearing black. Please help.

Hi there.

When I save low-res versions of jpegs (for example using photoshop’s “save for web”) and upload them to my blog they come out entirely black.

This only seems to be an issue in recent versions of firefox (3.5.2 etc) – they images show up fine in Safari and Explorer.

Any ideas?

Trouble uploading images

My issue is the display of my uploaded pics. The thumb comes up as black and the full image is rainbowed. I tried upgrading my thumbnail viewer but it didn’t change. I don’t want to upgrade WP, I tried the new one and didn’t like it.
