]]>we already spent quite some effort to get your plugin working with our site, but now we are stuck with two topics.
It seems that (background) images with urls like https://ds.tethis-it.at/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Twils-Sunday_01.jpg?id=22506 are not being served at all. Not as jpg, not as webp. Just empty.
The nginx redirection rule seems to work though, because when I try to load the image directly, you get the error “It seems you are visiting this file (plugins/webp-express/wod/webp-on-demand.php) directly. We do not allow this.”
Regardless if I have the parameter appended or not.
This may be caused by the parameter, but I cannot easily get rid of that.
Any ideas how to fix or at least troubleshoot this?
We are running Plesk with the usual apache / nginx combo.
All caching plugins are switched off
34 other images on ds.tethis-it.at are delivered properly in webp format.
Nginx rules set according to your knowledge base article
The second issue is, that the background images of the top slider (Slider Revolution) are not served. Again, not as jpg, not as webp, the background just remains white.
I guess this is a known issue, but can we expect a fix?
Alternatively, is there a slider that is known to work with WebP Express?
Thanks,
Christian

]]>In backoffice:
– Upload an image in the media page
– Go in to a post or page
– Set that image as featured image and save
– Remove the featured image from post and save
After these steps my image becomes blank in media page (the default file icon appears instead of the thumbnail).
I discovered that every time I remove an image as featured image all of its records in the ‘postmeta’ table are deleted and therefore the only trace of the media remains in the ‘posts’ table. The image files still in uploads folder.
I tried to change the theme and disable all the plugins but the problem remains.
The problem affects all images of any size and weight.
How can I solve it?
]]>I already reinstalled the newest version of wp, deinstalled all plugins (which resulted that all of them were blank), activated them again (all of them again with pic, except the ones uploaded in june).
I contacted my host, but he said it probably is something with the newest wp version.
Does anyone have an idea what I can do? I also tried to uploaded one with filezilla – but same problem…
Thanks for helping =)
]]>Also, the slider doesn’t appear on mobile devices. It works when I scale down my browser but it is missing when I visit the site on my mobile.
Can you help me fix these issues?

]]>I’m using domain mapping and after setting up the mapping I have changed the name from subdomain to the actual domain
all is working except that when I upload a test image which I know works on other single sites, I get a blank thumbnail in the library and in the post.
The image has uploaded and I can see it via cPanel>view but not by using the url supplied by the WordPress image uploader.
Here is the url supplied by WP https://northernbeachesaudiology.com.au/files/Baccarat-Capri.jpg
Looking at the path in Cpanel it would be https://sydneyentassociates.com.au/wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files/ Baccarat-Capri.jpg but this doesn’t show the image either
Sydney… is the multisite master domain, Northern… is a mapped domain to the multisite
I think this is either an .htaccess or httpd.config problem?
