Will Block based themes still have posts AND pages?

Hi:
Just trying to get oriented to the way themes are going to work in Gutenberg – when themes stop being based on php templates, will there still be posts and pages? If so, will there need to be a page.html template (corresponding to the current page.php) or will all pages in the site use the same template?

User Role

In one of my projects, I need a possibility to manage members by “kind of” user role. Some of the members should get a special status, so that they can enter a specific site (normal club members <-> managing club members).
I want to realize a “member site” (entrance to all club members) ans a “board site” (entrance only to managing club members).
Club members have “subscriber” status, managing club members have author or admin status.
Is this possible to realise this with WP-Members or one of the payed plugins?

Robots.txt is not blocking secondary pages

Hello I am having this issue. this is my robots.txt file.
I am triying to block specific pages like “contact-v1” and “contact-v2” because I don’t want to be shown in google searches or any other. I uploades the new robot and tested it in search console and still allowed them. Google bot is not blocking them. I need to block 6 pages… contact, blog, terms of use, privacy policy and other. Google is indexing me pretty bad and not indexes my home page even Yoast SEO metrics are fully green..!!! Any ideas..??

Page access not being blocked

I am using WP-Members and want to restrict access to content on a single page.

The target page shows as ‘locked’ when I view all pages, and all others are unlocked.

The login / new user registration forms, notification emails, etc. all work but I can still access the restricted content when logged out – as can a test user account.

I am using WooCommerce Storefront theme, but am a bit of a beginner with WordPress.

Any input would be very welcome, thanks!

I have read all your documentation about blocking pages but cannot get it to work. On www.tennesseetemple.org, I want the Students and Account pages to be visible only to logged in users. Also, if a person is logged in, I do not want them to see Register.

Wp-Members Not blocking pages

Hi Support,

I have recently installed the WP-Memebers plugin as it sound like exactly what i need.

I currently have the settings set to block all pages. Hoever the one page i would like to block the content is showing up!

Using the plugins “wp e-commerce” and “wp-members” there a way (a hack) to use wp-members to block the product pages?

Blocking Url when typed in the search bar

Bascially i just found out that if you type in the url of my blog and the first letter of number of one of my “protected” posts the url will complete itself and the page will show. in other words if my blocked post was “url.com/thruei” if you type in “url.com/t” and hit enter, you will still get the page.

is there a way to protect against this?
