Remove circle overlay for Profile Image and blog post Featured Image

How can I remove the overlay on the homepage that makes my Profile Image circular? I’d also like to remove the overlay from the Blog Post preview of the featured image. I’d prefer for the featured image to be rectangular and larger.

Lastly, how can I change the background color of the right sidebar where the Profile Image is located? The current color is green.

Post Excerpt AND Featured Image

On the blog page, you can either show an excerpt with the title of the post -OR- the entire post with the featured image on top.

I want to have the featured image with the excerpt. How do I do that?

I’d accept the featured image with only the title as the next best workaround.

I’m using with SiteOrigin Page Builder with Unwind theme. I noticed on my blog page excerpts that the widget heading (subtitle) is shown as running directly into the paragraph text as shown in bold below eg;

I’m designing my blog using OceanWP theme. But, blog excerpt doesn’t show line breaks and others(links, images, etc) what I have in my blog post. It(excerpt) does show something like a single paragraph without any (,
, etc) formatting. How do I get my excerpt as like my blog post? I’m not wanting to show the full post as the excerpt. I want to show some part but that part should be the same as the post.

In spite of defining “show excerpt” in the “reading” section of the panel, all the posts show as complete text.
This happen in all articles and categories.
I wish to show only an excerpt with “read more” in my feed.

I updated the WP Globus PLugin and now 9 of the posts on the Blog Page show {:en} at the beginning of the excerpt – how do I remove this? Why are only some showing it?
