Blog post photo issue

I’ve been running this site for my magazine, The Kendall Gentleman, for several months now and today is the first time I’ve run into this issue. When I post a new article, it blows up the featured image and kicks it off to the left and messes up the menu. It isn’t doing it on all the posts I’m doing today, but this one is the “main” post that needs to look good. Any advice?

Low Res Images on Blog

Hi! Right now I build my blogs on Narrative Publish, then upload them to WordPress, which I then publish to ShowIt (where I created my website). Right now, the images on my blogs are showing up low res. Here is one of my blog posts: https://laurenvandame.com/vibrant-luxurious-30a-wedding-at-rosemary-beach/. I chatted with Narrative Publish thinking it was the way I had exported the photos, but they uploaded the photos to their own site and said they looked sharp. Hence, it is not the way I have exported the photos. They are thinking it is maybe something to do with the width of my blog compressing everything. ShowIt isn’t being super helpful, so I am wondering if anyone here can help me. Below is what narrative told me:

When inspecting your blog on your site versus ours, I noticed that this specific image is being displayed at a much smaller resolution on your site (500 x 616) compared to ours (1500 x 1849). This suggests that your theme or something within your site settings is restricting the size of your images, rather than an issue with Publish, or how you’re exporting your images.

If anyone could help me, I would be grateful!!

Removing images from google after deleting from media library

I have a client who is requesting his wedding images that show up from my site when you search his name be taken down. I have deleted the images from the media library and removed the blog post they were used in. When you search his name the images still show up with the link to the blog post being broken. thank you.

Header and footer don’t appear in a Royal Elementor Addons Template

Hi guys,
I have this issue with you plugin: header and footer doesn’t display in a post template I’ve create with Royal.

So, I’ve create a template with Royal Elementor addons for blog posts but the header and footer don’t load.

The problem is present only in the blog posts that use this template.

The header had been create with Ultimated Addons Elementor, so I’ve tried to recreate header and footer inside Royal Elementor Addons but nothing changed (so I restored the previous one).

The problem is always present only in the pages that use this template.

Can you help me to solve it?

Hyperlink shows in preview but not in final blog

Hi, I found out today that every time I create a hyperlink in a blog post, it looks and links fine in the preview function but not whe I visit the page directly. The link is there – but it’s not clickable anymore. Any suggestions on what to do would be most appreciated. I’m not an IT specialist, just one stressed author trying to run my website… Thank you in advance.

Different blog feature image sizes

Hi there,

Might be a long shot as I know this theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years, but I need some hints on how to fix the different blog feature image sizes.

You will see in the link provided that the first 2-3 posts have smaller feature images displayed, but if you scroll further down, the remaining blog posts have the feature images displayed bigger.

Appreciate any pointers anyone may have!

Blog post not visible and redirects to Home

I recently added new SEO info to the Yoast section of my blog post – Focus keyphrase, SEO title and meta description – and for some reason it does not show up when I click on it from where all my blogs are post or directly to the page link. It just redirects to Home.

I have updated to the latest versions of all plugins, WP, erased all caches, change the date of publishing and still nothing.

Thanks for any advice offered to improve it.

Word Press Blog Page Error

Hi,

I am attempting to create a blog page for my website at the included domain. I watched a tutorial on how to setup a blog page and have been following the steps. I went to add new page->Add Title->Pulled in a blog template “Blog Surf 1”->Publish-> View Page->But then I get an error message saying, “Empty Template: Page:….” instead of having my blog and posts displayed at this point. The photo below is what my view looks like once this error occurs.

Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks.

Blog post Image size & space

Good Day

My blog post feature images are created according to the size you recommended to me (Tyler). The feature image displays perfect on the mobile version, but is cut off on a desktop version.

Also the space directly under the feature image is fine on desktop, but much too big on mobile. How can I fix these issues?

Porn Spam Comments Please Help!

Hi! I am suddenly getting spam comments on the blog post I’ve linked. It’s an old post that I updated in September. I don’t remember this post or any other post getting hit like this. Before I started getting the spam comments I had changed the article a little bit by updating affiliate links, images and republished the post. Since then I’ve noticed over the past few weeks that I’m getting several comments each day on this particular post that are from porn sites. Each comment is super long with a massive list of links to porn stuff. Luckily Akismet is catching it so I can delete them. I just want to know if there’s a reason I’m getting them and if there is anything else that I can do. I definitely don’t want my site to point to porn. Thank you for your help!
