there is a misalignment of the boxes (posts) if the lenghts (height) of the post on the right column (first line) is less than the one on the left.

Black Side Bar Appearing on Mobile View

My recent blog post is not formatting correctly and I can’t get to the bottom of it (crispvideo.com/5-basic-seo-tips). It looks perfect on web, but there is a black side bar that appears on mobile on the right side of the post.

The post text/copy also “leaks” over into the black sidebar, rendering it unreadable.

I have resized the photos (usually the problem when this happens) to their smallest size, checked the post code (nothing looks out of the ordinary), etc. but can’t find the cause. Any suggestions?

HELP!!! Half my widgets suddenly disappeared and now my views have decreased!

Last week I received a message saying my site was locked because of potential hacking or something. I changed my password and got back in the site, which looked fine. Then I went to change one widget, or add one (I can’t remember), and now about half of them just won’t display on my blog. What is going on? They are listed in the widget tab on the back end, the code looks good (to my knowledge), and I am losing views greatly. Please help.

I just updated www.jonathanball.com to 3.8 and the content for my site disappeared. You can go there and see just the headlines are visible. Now, all of this content is still there — I can see it all in the dashboard/admin section. It’s just not visible anymore to the public. I am running the Oulipo theme. Please help!!!!!

Blog set up problems

Hi ….. I’m running paid for Blackbird Theme….. I’ve recently added a Blog page to my site https://www.robfellowsreiki.com
I created a page in the menu /blog and have written a couple of posts.
I have also created a Blog sidebar in the widget area which includes an email capture form and a plug-in showing my last 5 posts. All sounds good so far.
BUT …. when clicking on the page tab for Blog the page only shows a part of each Blog post when I want to show the whole post ( they are only short!) and it doesn’t include my specially created sidebar , instead it shows the standard WordPress Blog side bar.
I had a recent problem where my Home page became the post page … which my Theme forum( Blackbird, Ink Themes) has solved this morning by advising me to check ‘Your latest posts’ for Front Page Displays within Reading Settings. This has returned my Home page but not solved my blog page problems.
Can anyone help to sort this for me please?

I posted a few days ago and figaro responded, but I need to ask another question, as it may change the suggested remedy.

I am the new (WordPress newbie alert) admin on the site above. The function that allow blog posts to display on the homepage (or any other page for that matter) was done away with by the person that designed the site in 2006. I can create posts and they generate their own URLs (example), but they don’t list anywhere on the site. I have to navigate directly to those URLs to view them. Can anyone help me to get the posts to display as they should?

problem worpress installation

Hello can anybody suggest me….i am trying to creat a blog with wordpress but i am getting this message…i’ve already uploaded the wordpress folder to my server….and renamed the file to wp-config.php / but still i am not being able to create a blog, getting this message:

Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.borderlandsgroup.com Port 80
