Unfortunately PAST events are also displayed (here “4. Januar 2020”). This does not make sense for courses.

Is there a way to only display upcoming events in this blog slider?

I found out that the problem is, that my Blog page is set up in Reading as Post page

But I don′t know how else should I set up the Blog page

I know I still have an open item, but I think, all that is really missing now is to have by blog page rolling and maybe it is easy to get your help this way (and will close the other asap):
My problems:
1) I am not able to get the slider on the page (with the header.php)
2) My blog post list does not show the featured image. It shows on the widget “more like this” at the bottom of the pages. I, with your help, eliminated it from the blog page itself
3) I take that with a static page and a blog page I will have to change the code from
<? php if (is_front_page() ){
to something like
<? php if (is_blog_page() ){
correct?

I want the big slider gone and the blog slider showing my recent posts. No matter what I try I cant get it or show anything. I think I messed up the defaults under Theme Options< Front Page < Slider Selection. I erased the defaults and now nothing loads plus I got the giant slider above the blog one. Please help!! Times of the essence, a advertising networks reviewing my site and it looks terrible with this error. I cant even find a way to hid the sliders in the meantime.
