How to disable hover effect (plus effect) at Blog Widget’s “modern” skin?

Hi and thank you for making this amazing plugin.
I am using PA’s blog widget “modern” skin at my blog and I would like to disable the “plus” hover effect at my “modern” skin.
Is there a code snippet to disable that hover effect at “modern” skin?

Blog Filter using tags listing tags that have no content

First off, thank you guys for the amazing plugin! It is great, really. I’m facing an issue that might be an oversight when filtering data from the database but, let me explain: I’m working on a site with multiple content categories and wish to filter each content type based on its tags, so imagine I have two categories: “Media” and “Cases”, both have independent tags, ok? When I filter the content based on a given category, “Cases”, I expect that the filter should only show tags that are present on posts of that category, but it is showing all tags regardless if there is content on it or not.

I’ll try to illustrate it further:
Post 1 – Category: Cases – Tags: Success, Law
Post 2 – Category: Media – Tags: TV, Interview

If I use the Blog widget and “Categories Filter Rule” as “Match Category”, select the “Cases” category and further down on “Advanced Settings” choose “Get Tabs from” and select “Tags”, the page will show the filter for the blog widget with all tags [“Success”,”Law”,”TV”,”Interview”], but if I select “TV”, it will be empty, as there are no posts under the “Cases” category that have “TV” as a tag.

I hope I made my case clear, and that’s really the only issue I found, I hope you’ll be able to help me fix my setup or point me to a proper solution. Thanks again for the amazing plugin.

Hi!

Just tried the blog widget, it’s very, very nice!

But I do have two small problems:

1. the read more tag is in english, and I couldn’t find any place to change it to brazilian portuguese. Is it possible in any way?

2. Background colors. I can’t make the background transparent (what I really want) but even changing colors doesn’t work very well: I tried many options, but, for example, I tried to give it some yellowish color and I got a pallid blue. Beautiful, really, but not what I was trying to achieve.

The site is offline, because it’s not ready, but if you need to inspect it let me know and I will try to put it online temporarily, or any other solution.

blog widget does not work

Hello!
I have just installed a polylang plugin. Not professional edition. And I am facing an issue.
I have a widget with blog feeds on my website. The main language is Spanish. The widget is working fine.
The translating language is Catalan. My blog posts are at the moment are only in Spanish. When I activate the plugin Polylang, a widget is not showing any posts on Catalan page. I saw the issue, I have to create the translation of each blog post in Catalan and after I see the posts in the widget. BUT I don’t have the translation of my posts at the moment and I would like to show Spanish blog posts on my Catalan page.
One of the solution was to clone my Spanish posts and to say to the system that they are Catalan but I will have a penalty from Google for duplicated content.
I tried to submit the original url of a post for Catalan language but it does not work.
Any other possibilities? What would you recommend?

FT: BLOG Widget Remove Read more Link

On the home page, for the widget FT:BLOG there is a section below each post that shows the author and a Read more link to the right of that. Since I am using 6 posts in my design (not the default 3) that line is right on top of my post located below it so I want to remove that line completely. I have already added the code below to remove the Author but I can’t figure out how to remove the Read more link or at least move it up to the same line as the [..]

I’m trying to create a similar shadow for each post in the inked blog widgets on the site, similar to the one with siteorigin testimonials, where I used

Javascript problem Blog widget

I recently installed the Inked Blog widget to use for a post loop on my wordpress.com homepage. I use the Ajax Pagination with 6 post per page and a load more button, and it was all working fine when I set it up on my test page. However, when I set the widget up on my homepage it stops working – when I push the Load more button it just reloads the page (not opening a new one) and my homepage slider (siteorigin) stops working properly.

I was in contact with siteorigin support who told me this was a Javascript issue and that I need to contact you for help. Can you please help me fix it?

Also, I tried to center my titles under the post images by setting “Text Align – Center”, but the text is still aligned to the left. How come? And do you support Infinite Scroll?

Remove Excerpt's post-date, author, and comments

Using a “blog” widget, I have a section on my main page where new posts automatically create small excerpts for people to see if they would like to keep reading a particular story.

Even though I’ve managed to remove the meta lines that show post-date, author, and comments on the top of each post itself, they still show on the excerpts.
Anyone know how to get rid of these without editing the functions.php?

I am using a modified Green Earth theme.
