WordPress Blog Won't Load

Hi everybody. I’ve been charged with maintaining a WordPress powered blog that I didn’t build. I’ve come into this position with a major issue: the blog won’t load, regardless of the circumstances (browser, computer, etc.). Because the blog isn’t loading, I don’t currently have access to the admin panel. Whenever I try to open the blog, Google Chrome displays the:

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect…

error.

I’ve seen a few problems on these forums similar to mine, but I haven’t been able to find any advice that I’ve been able to use. Does anybody have any suggestions?

My blog www.fairymothermedicinewoman.com will not load. I used it fine this morning. I already have updated flash player, cleared cache/cookies, hit command + R on my mac, restarted my computer, quit safari multiple times…. Thank you for any help you can provide. It\’s not my computer b/c it won’t load on my iPad either, and at the is just me site, I got “It’s not just you, it’s down for everyone”

Hi, I really hope someone can help me. I’ve been running my blog for just over 2 years and haven’t had any issues with is what so ever. I have always been able to login and view it. On either the latest version of Firefox or Safari with no issues. However yesterday, it just randomly decided never to work again. I can’t load it and I can’t login. It just spins like it’s loading for ages then nothing happens, or I get an error page saying what I am looking for doesn’t exist.

I’m finding this really odd because I can login using my iPhone with no issues and view it fine. Other people can view it because I have tried other computers and it works fine there, it just seems to be my Macbook that I can’t view it on on any browser tried. Also my boyfriends Macbook wont load it neither. I thought it may have been some Mac issue that occurred, but my brothers Macbook will load it so it’s not.

I have cleared my cache and cookies, nothing will fix it. I just can’t load it on my computer. I have been receiving comments and views though so I know it’s working for others. Does anyone know what the issue might be? It’s causing such a problem because I need to make some posts and I can’t unless I borrow someone elses. My blog is now working after solving the url change mistake

Hi. I am having terrible problems in my blog. By mistake, I change the blogs url and had some trouble, getting the blog in its old form.
I first try all the tricks and instructions you find here at www.ads-software.com, but they happen to not work for me. After several intents to solve the problem I manage to modify the URL of the blog in the DATABASE using php my Admin. With this made, the blog start from showing a 404 error to a 500 serve error.
Second I erase all files from the blog except the content ones, and replace them with new ones that I downloaded from the www.ads-software.com. The blog start to show up, everything is broken. This is how the blog looks like www.lizbasanez.com/blogpress
I can’t login to the control panel of WordPress and everything is like broken, I don’t know very much about blogging, I am a newbie. Can someone please help me? I have more than 120 old posts very important to me and don’t want to start all over again.

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me quickly. This morning, I went into my blog settings to change the UTC time to the equivalent of CST (I think i chose UTC + -530.

I clicked Save changes and my site would no longer load – I made no other changes, so i don’t know why that would cause that to happen. Please help! TIA

How To Fix HTTP 500 Error

I recently tried to change the theme for my blog but when I applied the new theme it didn’t seem to work as nothing loaded but a blank page afterwards.

Now, whenever I try to open the site, I get a HTTP 500 Error (IE7 gives the error, Firefox gives a blank page).

I obviously can’t log in to change the theme back, so the question is, how do you edit your blog without logging in via the web??? Or is there another solution to restore my blog?
