Why is my WP Suddenly Redirecting to rpc.blogrolling.com?

Yesterday, someone reported that
https://wwww.oneutah.org/ began redirecting to https://rpc.blogrolling.com

It wasn’t redirecting for me, but just for yucks, I pushed and old version of wp-admin\links-import.php and that seemed to solve the problem for that particular user until about 5 hours later.

Now it redirects for everyone…I think.

Importing Links

I have not been able to import links using the links panel. I’ve tried blogrolling.com’s links, blo.gs links, and importing an OPML file. No matter what I do, I get the following:

Importing…
XML error: no element found at line 1

Inserted 0 links into category 1.

I’ve searched on the forums, as well as the rest of the internet, but havent had any success.
I’m running wordpress 2.0.2
URL is https://x.johndoro.com

After getting weary waiting for Pingomatic’s API to work so I can get ‘last updated’ data to my blogrolls. I commissioned Rob Miller to write a plugin that grabs the ‘last updated’ data from a Blogrolling.com links list.

Works in WP 2.0 and later.

Import Blogroll Problem

Hi,

I’m trying to import my blogrolling.com links into my WordPress blog. I have followed the simple directions. I went to blogrolling.com and got my OPML URL. I pasted the URL into the textbox given and clicked the Import button.

I receive the following error:

XML error: no element found at line 1

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

My OPML URL is https://rpc.blogrolling.com/opml.php?r=af6408da10952d7cb3be93ba0c35d87d

Collapsible Blogroll

My blogrolls have become large. I’d like to make them collapsible to save sidebar space.

1 – Any existing code to do this? I assume I’d need some sort of javascript code.

2 – Any drawbacks to using javascript on my blog?

I searched first, I promise, but couldn’t construct a “collapsible blogroll” search that provided what I was looking for.

OPML question. If I import an OPML blogroll from Blogrolling, will I have to re-import the OPML if the roll is updated, or will it update automatically? In other words, does WP’s OPML imports talk directly to Blogrolling?

Changing ‘blogrolling’ to another name

Hi,

I’ve just installed WordPress 1.5.1 at https://www.niknazmi.com/wordpress

I’d like to still use the links manager, but I’d like to put an image as the header as other parts of the sidebar (categories, about, etc, etc), instead of the default “blogrolling”.

Which file do I edit? I can’t find where “blogrolling” is.
