I created a staging site and I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work so I deleted it. Somehow I deleted the content of my orginal site as well (no I did not push it live) Anyway after speaking with Bluehost they were able to help me somewhat but I’m still not able to restore my content. They walked me through double checking that there were no changes to my host obviously, domain, or server.
I expected the backup to be restored successfully on my current setup, which has the same domain, host, and server as the original site.
Instead of a successful restoration, I received an error message stating that the backup cannot be restored due to domain, host, and server restrictions. The error indicates that the backup requires being restored on the exact same domain, host, and server as the original, but it appears to be failing despite my setup being consistent with these requirements.
Browser: Google Chrome
Operating System: Windows 10
Hosting Provider: Bluehost
PHP Version: 8.3.6 (as listed in my WPStaging environment details)
I’m at a loss on how to move forward as I don’t want to purchase a pro version because I don’t need it. Why is it not restoring? Please advise on how I can proceed with restoring the backup under these circumstances. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
]]>Therefore it seems to me that our new VPN8 or the migration itself is defective, but Bluehost refuses to acknowledge this.
Just to be clear, only about 8-9 plugins can be active at one time, any set of them. But when I activate the 9th or 10th plugin our site goes down. I’m happy to pay for support if someone points me in the right direction. Thank you!

Error on dynamic page (https://chatt.hr): Seem that your website is not behind Cloudflare. Please check if the page caching is working by yourself by surfing the website in incognito mode ’cause sometimes Cloudflare bypass the cache for cURL requests. Reload a page two or three times. If you see the response header cf-cache-status: HIT, the page caching is working well.
I bought a new theme and installed it on the staging site. I use BlueHost of that helps. I added several plugins for additional functionality that was needed for the new site on the staging site. The new theme and plugins are not currently installed in the current website on the love url. Now I’m trying to push the staging site to go live but when I review it on the live site none of the changes including the new theme or plugins are there.
Is there a way for me to push the staging website where all the customization have been done including the new plugins and new theme to the live URL without having to redo all of my work.
Any help is greatly appreciated
]]>A similar issue was discussed on a previous forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/flickr-jetpack-conflict/. It was reported that this other issue was fixed, but the conflict with Flickr images in the classic editor still appears in Jetpack 13.3.1.
This has become a headache because of another previously reported issue: The site is hosted on Bluehost, and the required Bluehost plugin automatically reactivates the Jetpack Site Accelerator whenever it is turned off: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/site-accelerator-activates-itself-repeatedly/
One solution could be to convert all of the classic posts to the Block format, but I’ve read about people having issues with the available batch conversion plugins, and I’m wondering if there could be a straightforward fix on the Jetpack side.
Thank you!
]]>I have an issue and I really need help. A few months ago we had to terminate our IT company. A few days ago i went into our website and i received this message.
“Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample-php file to work from. Please re-upload this file to your wp installation.” The IT consultant created and purchased the domain name on behalf of my company. I created the website and pointed it to the URL that he created. Currently, he has the site going to her nameservers. Can you please advise as to:

]]>Had a question about Jetpack Backups and BlueHost.
I was working for someone who had a WordPress site hosted by BlueHost and we also had backups setup through Jetpack Backup.
The owner of the website did not sign up for a hosting renewal with BlueHost and the website was taken down and after the hosting period was over and the site and data was deleted according to BlueHost.
My question is – am I still able to use the backups from Jetpack backups to restore the site after re-hosting WordPress? Or is everything gone now?
BlueHost is telling me that everything is gone but I was hoping that the Jetpacks backup were stored separately so those would be able to be used to restore the site once we re-enabled hosting. Is that not the case?
Hope this is enough info! If you need anything else let me know!
]]>Last saturday (28-10-2023) I tried to switch from wordpress.com to a www.ads-software.com website hosted by bluehost. Bluehost gave me a temporarily domain called pzv.lcd.mybluehost.me. When I change the URL to my own domain; joukegaastra.com it keeps redirecting me to my old wordpress.com blog and not the new website. I also cannot acces my website anymore and I have to change back to the bluehost url in using PHP myadmin.
What I have done so far;
Starting the transfer proces to bluehost. The transfer status is still pending, I have enter the domain transfer code, and disconnected my domain from my wordpress.com blog. The nameservers are also still connecting. See images below.
I also contacted bluehost support, but they say they cannot help me because my domain is not ”connected”. I would expect my domain to be transferred by now.
My question is; What do I need to do to connect my domain to my new www.ads-software.com website? Do I have to wait for the transfer to be complete? Or do I have to do anything to complete the transfer myself?
