Hi,

before I would consider buying the plugin, I would like to know two things.

First, is there a way to change the font color of the book information I would put in for any book? The way it looks right now, any information is in a gray tone, which would be hard to read on my website. In the documentation, I can’t find anything about it. Also, I am not very familiar with CSS.

Also, is there a way to link the book to a written review?

Not working with Elementor 3.27.6

After activation and installing Books Gallery. This is not working with Elementor 3.27.6, it is showing blank page. Below is the error log.

I’ve been using the GS Books Showcase plugin with our local book club’s website for a few years now and I’m really impressed by it. Its intuitive interface provides several options for the book layout/display and plenty of editable data fields to store commonly used metadata (isbn, publisher, date published, no. of pages, book format, rating, reviewer, url, etc.). The books are beautifully presented on the resulting web pages and additional info can be displayed simply by hovering the cursor over a book cover.

Product support is excellent, too. I recently encountered a glitch with the plugin (the first one in 3? years of use on my site) and I received a response within 24 hours. Sarwar diagnosed the problem and fully resolved the issue the following day.

If you need to display any collection of books on your website, I highly recommend this plugin.

Where is the book template?

I looked at the demo of the free version, and it shows this:

The Whistler (gsplugins.com)

But the page the free version actually produces looks nothing like it, nor do I see options to make it look like that. Am I missing something?

This tool is prefect to publish books showcases. Many options, it is the tool I was looking for.

Permalinks broken due to plugin interference

Hello,

Whenever the plugin is active, if I update the theme or any another plugin my Category Archives permalinks break. For example:

URL/category redirects to [Book whose title starts with the ‘category’ word]

and

URL/category_without_match_in_any_book_title redirects to 404

The issue can be manually fixed by re-saving the permalinks structure, but this is beyond annoying and requires constant watch over any auto-update.

Can you please advise on how to fix the issue?

I asked how to do something that turned out to not be possible in the current version of the plugin. After a quick response to my question, the support tech asked for login permission and went in and built the feature right in to my site. AWESOME!

I was struggling with some minor issues and decided to write them an email about it. The very next day I was asked to update the plugin to the latest version and to my surprise, all the issues i was struggling with were resolved after the update. This team cares about its users and are very fast to come with a solution. Thanks again for all the help!
I surely recommend the plugins from GS plugins! It’s worth every penny.
