[borlabs-cookie id=”fubade” type=”content-blocker”]
[fubade api=”000000000000000000000000000000000000″ type=”table” notice=”Tabellenstand Herren” fullWidth=false devtools=false]
[/borlabs-cookie]
Wenn ich das Fussball.de-Widget ohne den Borlabs Content Blocker einsetze, funktioniert es problemlos. K?nntest du mir bitte weiterhelfen, wie ich das Problem l?sen kann?
Vielen Dank im Voraus!
I am writing to seek assistance with a compatibility issue we’ve encountered on our website when using WP Meteor in conjunction with the Borlabs Cookie plugin. Despite the significant performance enhancements provided by WP Meteor, we’ve identified a conflict specifically related to the handling of Borlabs Cookie scripts within WP Meteor’s optimization process.
To elaborate, alongside WP Meteor and Borlabs Cookie, we utilize the Autoptimize plugin and have configured it to exclude Borlabs Cookie’s primary JavaScript files (borlabs-cookie.min.js
and borlabs-cookie-prioritize.min.js
) from optimization. These exclusions work as intended with Autoptimize, as evidenced by the scripts’ presence in the page’s source HTML.
However, upon activating WP Meteor—regardless of the optimization mode selected—we observe that the Borlabs Cookie consent message does not appear. Consequently, third-party scripts managed through Borlabs Cookie fail to load, impacting site analytics, functionality and compliance.
Given the steps we’ve already taken to troubleshoot, including ensuring all plugins are up-to-date and attempting manual script exclusions within WP Meteor’s settings, we suspect this issue may require a resolution or workaround from your end.
Could you provide any insights, suggestions, or fixes to ensure Borlabs Cookie scripts are appropriately excluded from WP Meteor’s optimizations, thereby restoring the consent message functionality and third-party script loading?
Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. We look forward to a possible solution that will allow us to leverage the benefits of WP Meteor without compromising our site’s compliance and user experience.
Thank you for your time and support!
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
When I merge the JS files with autoptimize, the cookie banner no longer works. So this setting can no longer be used. Even if I exclude scripts there is almost no chance.

thanks for the nice plugin – works great on our website. How can we get it to work with script blocking for gdpr ready website?
We try to use borlabs cookies with this hints: https://borlabs.io/kb/3-create-cookies-borlabs-cookie/ – but doesn′t get it to run.
How can we block the plugin function and get it to work after user compliance?
Thanks for your help!
Best regards!
Incorrect display after Borlabs cookie
After agreeing with the cookie banner or unblocking the content blocker directly, the posts are totally slipped and also the Maximum number of characters is not considered anymore.
The header image is also not displayed.
I have added the function as documented here
https://smashballoon.com/doc/making-facebook-feed-work-with-borlabs-cookie-content-blocker/?facebook
but this leads to the error that the Content-Blocker appears again and again under the loaded feed and also here the display is not correct.?
(At the Google Chrome Console you can find this Error: Uncaught TypeError: cffAddMasonry is not a function)
I have set here in the plugin itself the setting to GDPR both to Automatic and No and put the content blocker code for Facebook around the shortcode.?
Without Content-Blocker-Code and only with the setting “Automatic” the feed is always displayed and there is a communication to the Facebook server.
Thanks for your help!
