I am completely lost here and don’t know what to do to fix this
We can’t even login to the backend of wordpress.
All pages where I am using a countdown plugin button break.
For now I disabled the plugin, so that our customers get a friendly experience on our website.
What changed? It worked more than a year perfectly and now suddendly it doesn’t anymore.
thanks and best regards
Helga
I am using this plugin with another cache plugin. But some pages on the website become broken automatically. Please check this page now.
It shows 404 error for the CSS and JS files under the “wp-content/cache/asset-cleanup/” folder. Please check the screenshot here.
To fix this I have to clear the cache again. But after a few days it happens again which is very frustrating.
Earlier I used W3 Total Cache plugin. I thought it may the issue with that so I disabled it and used LiteSpeed Cache plugin. But it happens again. So I think it may the problem with Asset Clean Up plugin.
Is there any way to resolve this? I am using Hostinger web hosting in case that is related somehow.
Thank you.
I have been using WordPress for almost 8 years now but never came across such a problem.
When I check my website in brokenlinkcheck.com it shows all the URL of my website as broken. My Url is below.
Each URL of my website is added with a www version of my website twice. And there are a lot of pages and all the pages show broken links.
www version of my website has been added automatically to all the pages, forum, and posts. I have been trying to fix this and already tried everything that I could.
I would like to have the help of fellow WordPress users. Please look into this matter and please let me know how I can fix this issue. It is making me nuts.
Can someone suggest me something that I am missing on? I would greatly appreciate your help on this.

The plugin has since been deleted, but the error is persisting.
I have recreated permalink in settings but still no joy.
Note if I use the old permalink structure eg sitename.com/p32 or sitename.com/date/postname the posts appear fine however sitename.com/postname results in 404 errors.
Deleting my .htaccess file and rebulding via a permalink update also didn’t do the trick.
If I disable woocommerce completely my posts load fine.
Hoping someone can help as I now have no store on my website.
Thanks
When removed the BRL shortcodes, the pages appear complete and OK: example -> https://nonkilling.org/center/about/research-committees/
Example of a page with the shortcodes still in it, and broken: https://nonkilling.org/center/publications-media/books-cgnk-publications/
I tried to remove version 1.4.17 and restore 1.4.16 (which included some hacks by me in the code) but it only made things worse because then, all of the pages in this site where broken just after the

tag.
As you can see, all broken pages manage (hardly: sometimes even the image of the first book cover is missing) to display the first book and then the code stops:
https://nonkilling.org/center/publications-media/books-translations/
https://nonkilling.org/center/publications-media/books-other-english-editions-of-nonkilling-global-political-science/
etc.
Hope you can help us soon. Thanks in advance.

Good! now that that’s out of the way
My Problem:
WordPress is installed over my old site. There are conflicts because of this. but it has been so long since I originally created the site, that I no longer can recall all the files that are part of the old site. So I don’t think I can reliably just clear them all out.
The question:
Can I delete EVERYTHING on the server and start with a fresh install of WordPress?
I am hosted on GoDaddy and I dont know if deleting everything will be a terrible idea or not.
If you could advise me on a better solution for why the internal links don’t work. That would be awesome.
Thanks you.

What steps have I missed?
