I am using Events Manager and BuddyPress. My goal is for users to book an event and pay the organizer directly through PayPal. This way, I won’t have to deal with the money directly. Is this possible without WooCommerce or other plugins?
And in this case, can an invoice be automatically generated from the organizer to the user with the pro version, or do I need the WooCommerce integration with the Invoice builder for that?
Thank you for your help
I am having an annoying layout issue with mediapress in galleries.
It occurs with any gallery type (photos, video, audio)
it occurs in any theme I have tried, (enfold theme, 2020 theme, 2021 theme)
the issue is that the comment box which says for example user added a new photo
with links for “COMMENT FAVORITE DELETE” do not appear with each image/thumbnail they appear as a long list stacked under each other at the bottom of the gallery page..
eg so I get something that looks like this under the gallery grid..
GALLERY GRID
MAIN COMMENTS BOX
user added a new photo 1 week ago
Comment Favorite delete
user added a new photo 1 week ago
Comment Favorite delete
user added a new photo 1 week ago
Comment Favorite delete
user added a new photo 1 week ago
Comment Favorite delete
user added a new photo 1 week ago
Comment Favorite delete
links are also appearing underneath each individual gallery thumbnail within the grid so are duplicated on the page.
when viewed while not logged in it doesnt show the links just the user added a new photo stacked in same position.
I guess this is activity stream but I am new to buddy press and media press so I am not sure how to correct it so that the relevant data stays with its relevant image or remove that activity list from the gallery page.
please help as it is confusing and makes the page very messy.
1) If the column ‘role’ includes the following ‘subscriber,bbp_participant’ it gives me an error saying…You do not have permission to assign some of the next roles “subscriber, bbp_participant” so I’ve only been including ‘subscriber’ which allows me to upload.
2) The uploaded users do not show up on the member’s page of Buddy Press. Not sure how to get them to show up properly
3) Some of the Buddy Press User Profile fields will not import. For instance, I have a Checkbox type field and the data is listed in the field as ‘Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot’ (which is how it looked when I exported it from another user) but it won’t import using the same data. Also I have ‘member name’ fields and either they will be blank or in one instance it pulled the ‘user_login’ into instead.
4) In Buddy Press each User Profile field has a different visibility setting, but for the users I’ve imported, those settings are not correct so private information is being displayed publically when it shouldn’t.
5) I’m not able to import Buddy Press’ Member Type nor Groups. Can’t find any Group ID’s even when I export a user assigned to a group.
Thank you for your help.
]]>WordPress Version: 5.2.3
]]>Great plugin, great job!
I am using Woffice theme along with Buddy Press to manage customer groups (each group is made of clients, partners and anyone involved in a specific project for which the group was created)
But I can’t find how I can allow access to group members only and automatically create group folder when we create the group and invite members to join?
In this case, we are not using the role or user attribute, as access is only granted based on group membership, regardless of user or role.
Is it possible to do this with your plugin or did I missed something in your tutorials?
Thanks and keep up with your great job!
