I opened style.css and other .css files on my computer and changed some margins, but I didn’t help.
Please, heeelp me
As I wrote in the topic my theme is BUDDYMATIC
and the style.css looks like this:
blabla
#header h1 a{
font-family: Courier
}
#header h2{
font-family: Courier;
}
.entry-content img {
margin: 0 0 0px 0;
max-width:100%;
}
.alignleft,
img.alignleft {
float: left;
margin-right:20px;
}
.alignright,
img.alignright {
display: block;
float: right;
margin-left:20px;
}
.aligncenter,
img.aligncenter {
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
display: block;
clear: both;
}
.wp-caption {
text-align: center;
margin-bottom:18px;
}
.wp-caption img {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
border: 0 none;
}
.wp-caption p.wp-caption-text {
margin: 0;
padding:5px;
}
.gallery img {
margin:0;
}
.wp-smiley { /* Prevent the smileys from breaking line-height */
max-height:12px;
margin:0 !important;
}
Could anyone out there help me?
]]>Ive realised I may have made a booboo, in that I have added my own HTML to a couple of the parent themes PHP files. Do I need to duplicate these files and place them in my child theme directory, then remove the original HTML from the parent themes PHP files, because as and when new updates come along the parent themes files are wiped and reset with effectively default code.
I d put my domain on but its abit pointless as you cannot view my PHP code.
If anyone can clear this up for me Id be most appreciative.
regards
Benisjamin
]]>I’m new at WordPress and I’ve just managed to install it on my host. I am working to edit the theme a litte and would like to add my own logo in the header. Can anyone advise me on how to do this?
The theme I’m using is ‘Buddymatic’ and this is my site at the moment: www.jecreative.net.
I’m not completely code clueless but I’m an html and css kind of person! Don’t know much about .php.
Could anyone give any advice please?
Thanks!
Jenny
I know this is probably very basic, but after hours of searching I turn to the forums for help. I want Buddymatic in my language.
I got the norwegian .po file in /buddymatic/libraries/languages/
How do i make the theme use this language-file instead of english?
]]>i’m also wondering if i can’t fix this issue if I can just disable clicking on “works”, “recent”, and “archive”, basically just have those as roll overs with only the actual series titles clickable, for example, “tiles”, “machines”.
thanks!
my url is www.lu-zhang.com/test1
]]>WordPress 3.0.1
buddymatic theme 1.2
early morning child theme 0.2
If I click the “join group” link it disappears and does nothing. If I right click the link and “copy link location” then paste that same link into my browser it works. There is no problem when I use the default Buddypress theme, only when I use Buddymatic/Early Morning Child Theme.
I’ve tried getting this problem solved on a few different forums that relate to my themes and plugins but I haven’t received an answer that has solved my problem. If anyone out there has an idea on what would solve this I would greatly appreciate it.
]]>I’m trieng to get my favicon to work.
I’ve tried many different things and great suggestions, but without any luck.
Does anyone here know where exactly to put the .ico-file and code in when using the Buddymatic-theme?
It’s really driving me grazy :o)
Thanks.
]]>I’ve tried in the different styles, header, deafult etc But can’t seem to find the right place to change it.
If you know exactly which file I have to make the changes to please let me know.
The website I’m working on is: grandad.dk
Thank you very much.
