first of all, Blocksy is a great theme and I love it. For a new project I would like to use it together with buddypress, but I red here that Blocksy only support custom post types from buddypress. But which features of buddypress the theme does not support or maybe is incompatible? Because you classified the theme in the description and tags of wordpress themes not as buddypress theme! See here.

Do you plan to update the theme to full buddypress support and when?

I really like this theme and thinking of using it for a social network community site using buddypress. Btw, is this theme build on twitter bootstrap and html5?

Is it possible to set the homepage of this theme to a simple page without too much content or without too many columns etc.

For example can I just have simplicity like facebook.com homepage or https://themetastic.com/buddypress/?wptheme=BuddyPress%20Social where I just have:

1. the registration or login area for members
2. Display logo
3. Display my jumbo headline and message very boldly such as this this theme https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ward
4. Display just few other really popping sections on homepage like https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ward
5. Add a slider to show either photos or video on the homepage for our own message or for our partner messages.

Please advise if I can set the homepage as above without placing too much content or posts on the homepage.

The bp_members page (members directory) is considered as post in Customizr. and so is other buddypress page.

have you consider to buddypress compatible in next release ?

I am inquisitive to know if I can use 2 different themes in the same website.

I want to have content and forum both and want to use twenty eleven theme for the content part and buddypress theme for the forum.

Is it at all possible?

I’m wanting to set up a community based around a niche type of cycling. I want all the features of social media that Buddypress offers. I also want forums, user blogs, user photo gallerys.

I also want to set up some static pages and a web based store.

I’m getting lost in the sea of themes to choose from, I’m having a hard time differentiating how to compare different features of the themes.

I’m really wanting a theme that has ‘room to grow’ and I also don’t want to be tied into preset color themes…

Ofcourse I have no clue how to use code so as of now I’m limited to using themes just how they come.

I’ve been looking at Woo Themes Canvas with their add-on Buddypress child theme. Would that be a wise decision? The BuddyDress themes are nice looking but Canvas seems more powerful is that correct?

I am currently using the speed theme and to use the image slideshow built into the theme it is telling me “Works auto, will load featured image set with each post.Just set the post image as featured for the post,then the slider will load this image. ” Although I have looked around my site as well as the help forums on how to do this I am coming up with no ideas.. I’m sure it is probably something very obvious that I will be kicking myself for later but any help would be greatly appreciated
