I’d like to add a 900px image on the homepage above the bottom “grey” footer area. Can you help me identify which area to modify and how this type of hack to a theme is performed? Can I instead the image html to a file? Thanks!!!!

Slideshow wont show up!

Hello,

My website slideshow isn’t working.
It comes up as a thin white line,
Same with the images for the posts.

I’ve tried completely restoring the theme code and deleting the slides and putting them in again and changing the image size and whatnot. Nothing’s working.

Please help me out.

How to center logo?

I’d like to center the logo on my site, beautyinyourhands.com.au
The logo is currently on the left,
I’ve got no idea how to use themes and whatnot so please try to be descriptive,

I want to put the logo in the middle of the header,
and so far in the stylesheet.css this is all i can find:

hi guys. i am creating a simple website for our project. i am trying to sell gadgets like laptops, cameras, and mobile phones. so which do you think is better? the buro woocommerce or the estore of elegant theme? i’m still stuck deciding which to buy.

My URL keeps changing! Hosted on AWS with Jumpbox

I set my sites URL in WordPress Settings as https://www.dogwalkingdenver.com/
The change takes effect and work fine, then with in 24 hours the url changes back to https://ec2-50-17-129-25.compute-1.amazonaws.com

The links still work, but all of the urls in the site change.

I purchased the domain through GoDaddy and used JumpBox to host on Amazon Web Services Ec2. I am also running the WooTheme Buro.

This has been driving me nuts and I suspect the problem is in WordPress itself, but can’t find any documentation to fix it.
