Hello Oliver,

I have just updated to version 1.6.0 on several sites all using WordPress 6.2.2, but have problems with two sites.

On one using PHP 7.4.33 and another 8.0.28, I am getting the message:

You have version 1.5.5 installed. Update to 1.6.0. View version 1.6.0 details.
Compatibility with WordPress 6.2.2: 100% (according to its author)
This update does not work with your version of PHP. Learn more about updating PHP.

The updates cannot be installed, although other sites on the same servers and using the above-mentioned versions of PHP had no notices and install with any problems.

Cannot edit/update events

Hi all,

i’m having issue editing and updating events.

when i go to edit an event either;

A. the update button doesn’t work
or
B. the update button works BUT the event does not update (it reverts to the previous state)

Theme: Uncode (with it own version of WPbakery Builder)
plus: ticket manager and woocommerce

I have updated everything (theme and plugins).

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey,

Do you have a repository on github or elsewhere to download older versions? 5.5 is buggy for me at the moment so i am holding off on the update. Do you have the last version avilable for 5.4 please.

Back end white screen/not loading in WP-Admin

Hi All,

Im trying to update our website – I’m able to log into the back end WP-admin but and view the website however as soon as I go to the dashboard or any other back end page to view, edit and change anything the whole screen goes white as if its not loading. This has been going on for a few months now – it was sporadic now it has progressed to being like this all of the time.

The last time I was able to access anything I made sure everything on the site was up to date including the WP version. Not sure where it is at now.

I just can’t see a way around this if anyone can help?

Hi. I haven’t been able to update this plugin since 3.4.4.

This is the error I get when I try to update from the Installed Plugins page:

Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

And this is the error I get when I try to update from the Updates page:

It seems like a file permissions error, though I haven’t changed anything on my end, I think…

I have this problem when I try to update the facebook for woocommerce from 1.9.7 to the latest version it won’t work it was there since 1.9.10 came out and now 1.9.11. so I have tried this for more than 10 time on different time and day for the last month. can you tell me how can I update the plugin manually by downloading the 1.9.11 zip file and then updating it via FTP to the plugins folder. please tell me the necessary details to do this

WP Super Cache cannot be configured

Hi there, I’m getting two messages: one on the plugin update page for all WP plugins that states:

“WP Super Cache must be configured. Go to the admin page to enable and configure the plugin.”

Clicking over to the plugin admin page, I get this error:

“Error: Your cache directory () did not exist and couldn’t be created by the web server. Check permissions.
Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.”

We’ve never had issues with the plugin before. Your insight is appreciated.

Hi,

I couldn’t update any pages, posts and so on. After editing the content, I pressed the update button, then it’ll redirecting to the edit.php page (https://onemindgroup.com/1pointsix18/wp-admin/edit.php). I cannot change anything.

Cannot publish or update posts from Chromium (Chrome)

Hi, I’m using Ubuntu 16.10 (fresh installation) and Chromium (latest) and I’m not able to update or publish any posts. All my websites are up to date. I tried fresh installation with Twenty Sixteen without any plugins and it didnt’t help. I also tried to turn of every chrome extension. But everything is working in Firefox. Can anyone help?
