Lost Google Authenticator Data

I accidentally cleared the data from my Google Authenticator app, and thus the codes for my WordPress site will not populate.

I’ve never setup FTP, SFTP, or SSH for my site and have a Chromebook. Is there anything I can do to get into my account?

I’ve not accessed my account for a few days and when I’ve tried to log in I can’t.
It says the password is wrong (which I’m pretty sure it isn’t) and when I click the forgotten password link to get an email sent so I can reset my password nothing arrives in my inbox (I’ve checked my junk email too) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Try put it simple for me though as like I said I’m a noob at all this! Thanks

Reset password using FTP is not working

Helping a nonprofit to maintain their site but can’t access with existing username and password. Can’t request to reset password using e-mail because don’t know who’s e-mail it would use. The site was heavily customized based on theme Galaxy.

I followed the instructions on https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Resetting_Your_Password#Through_phpMyAdmin using FTP method and Emergency Password Script. Tried several times, not working. What I need to do is reset admin name and e-mail address.

I was thinking to create a new WP account and restore the backup file. However, I found out existing site was a premium account so the new basic account won’t have plugin to restore the back up file.

HELP! How do I go into the site? Site address is earthfestla.org.

Hi there,

I seem to have trouble accessing my wordpress site. When the login window appears it doesn’t accept my password. Then I tried resetting it and it says “this key is not valid”. I tried changing the password from the phpadmin and it also doesn’t allow me.

Please help me solve this.

Hi all,

I logged into my site, ( https://www.themechanic.co/ ), tonight and it was nagging me to perform some updates which I did and this included some theme updates.

When I attempted to view my site to see what changes had been made it completely vanished!! All I now get is a blank page across the whole site even if I attempt to visit old pages or go back to the dashboard page.

I’ve tried other browsers, (Internet Explorer,Firefox, Chrom),and he result is the same on them all.

What’s gone wrong here?? I would have thought the nags to update would be compatible with my site but now I’m completely locked out in the sense I can’t get anything from the site at all.

Please help!
